I found out that a topic I made yesterday was renamed, moved, and locked, all without me getting any notification about it. Before I post in suggestions or feedback (not sure which would be more appropriate in this case), I wanted to ask if that's a bug, if I'm supposed to be notified when a mod does something to a topic I created. Or if mods making changes to a topic without the topic creator's knowledge (unless they're subscribed to it) is just normal here.
Sounds like it might have been a bug report in P&B? Those threads are often renamed by mods with identifiers and clear titles so that they can easily identify problems that programmers need to focus on, and once the problem has been identified as resolved, will also often be locked and then moved to dismissed reports, again as a way of making sure that there's no outdated reports that confuse programmers focus, which is very limited.
That's exactly what happened and I understand that. According to the mod posts, my topic was first renamed and moved (not surprising since I wasn't sure where to post it), and then later locked and moved to dismissed reports when the issue was solved.
I'm just wondering whether or not I should have gotten a notification, like an event, that these things had been done. It's not the first time I had a topic renamed or moved, and I was thinking I got notified those times, but it might be that I just saw what happened because I was subscribed to those topics.
This is my bad. It use to be that if you selected to post as a staff (colored bar) everyone in the thread got a notification. Apparently, that's no longer the case (thanks for testing). So, yeah, this entire time I thought everyone was being notified.
Oh alright that explains things! I'm glad I asked instead of just complaining about it.
Me too.. because this ENTIRE TIME (when did it change.. years ago???) I've been thinking I've been pinging people OMGOMG. plz bury me
Seems relevant.
Still ❤️ you and the work you do tho, dear. XD
That was my bad. I also was under the impression the staff bar notified those who posted on the board. So I moved your board earlier but my post got eaten by lag so I resubmitted my post when I got home. Then I saw this board. And now I am ashamed. I am sorry for the confusion.

Programmers have been made aware and have it on their to do list to address when they can.
Don't worry, I'm subscribed to the topic you moved so I saw your post.
Good to know this will be addressed! In the meantime I'm making a point to subscribe to my own topics so at least I'll see when a post is made.
