[item=single sheer glove (base 1)] is useful except in some cases, like say I want to wear a skirt that covers the hand so I need the glove, but then I want to wear a top with long sleeves tucked under the skirt, but then I end up with this 
I'm not asking for the gloves to be changed, but for another version that just covers the hand. Though I don't know why the existing sheer gloves need to cover as much of the arm as they do. (ignore that last sentence, I'd delete it but am keeping it for context)

There are situations where you need the longer glove. It all depends on what you are trying to cover up. But agreed, you often need the shorter option too. And a long and short glove for the other hand.

I like to make avatars that are wearing lolita fashion and historical costumes who are pretty covered up sometimes. I need to be able to do the long sleeves.
I also have a major OC who has an entire sleeve of tattoos on each arm and using the long gloves on her erases them.

I support this suggestion. As others have said, the sheer gloves are too long to work with some clothing items.

I was just coming here to suggest the same thing. So many items cover up the hands these days something like this is a must.

Support! I would also love to have a sock/stocking version. I don't remember what specifically I needed it for, but I do remember thinking about it recently
Okay this keeps happening. and are clearly meant to go together, but the top doesn't look right layered over the skirt. So it has to go under the skirt. But then the sheer gloves don't work because they cover part of the sleeve. So the hand just has to stay behind the skirt. Only recently we had some items with the same sort of issue (though I can't remember what they were).
Literally all that needs to be done is use the existing art for the sheer gloves and just take off the arm part.
