Hello everyone. I'm new to Subeta. I feel kind of lost... like why don't I have hair and how can I get some? Anyways... This site looks pretty fun and I'm glad to see so many playing. I play other games like Subeta (Tattered World & Neopets) and I'm hoping that will make learning this one pretty easy, but I do feel a little overwhelmed. Haha. Um... besides playing these types of games I also enjoy drawing. Hmm... I think that's all I have to say so far.

I'm still kinda learning how to use the new Wardrobe myself, so I can't seem to find where basic avatar hair would be, if that's still a feature. I sent you a giftbox with some hair and makeup items that might help; I hope at least one of them is something you'd like! Just add them to your Wardrobe from the inventory and you should be able to use them like the clothing items. You can buy more from shops like The Grooming Parlor, and events ( like the one going on right now, Survival ) usually offer clothing and hair items in exchange for event currency.

The site can be a little overwhelming, but the community here is generally very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions or need help figuring something out, don't hesitate to ask!

Thank you for the welcomes you both. You both said that you sent me items for hair, but I can't seem to find it? I do see a lot of candy hearts though.

It's been a hot minute since I've gotten a giftbox, but if I'm not mistaken I believe you can either click on the notification that you got a gift from your sidebar or visit the Gift Center to see what you got, and that should release the items to your inventory for you to use.

Welcome to Subeta :) I think you will like it here. The community here is friendly and very helpful. There is always a lot to do throughout the year around here as far as events go, especially during holidays. Right now is Survival, which is Subeta's take on the Valentine's Day holiday, but with a zombie twist :P Luminaire (aka Christmas) and Morostide (aka Halloween) are also really fun. Then there's also Vesnali (Easter) and many other events and holidays. The staff here are really personable and friendly, unlike Neopets.. Well, I haven't been to Neo in many many years so I'm not sure what that site is like these days. I used to enjoy playing Neo's flash games back in the day, buut RIP flash lol. (I miss flash T-T) lol

I did figure out how to open my gift boxes, but I have no idea how to get to the page on my own without clicking the link to take me there. Haha... I feel so annoying with all these questions, but for some reason Subeta is really hard to learn. As for Neopets... the site it broken. I don't play anymore. They are become really money hungry. I do like how all the events and how Subeta feels like a community. Hopefully I can figure out things here soon.

oh, I see what you mean. It's very much a similar setup as Neopets where most links are within their own worlds. You can get there by going to Explore > Arctic Frost > Gift Center > Gift Wrapping. And then there are buttons on the left to send a gift and check your gifts and gifting history.

Subeta is so much better than Neopets! Dressing up humans is more fun than dressing up pets too (imo) lol

The easiest way to make sP here is questing. The best quests to do are Wizard, Saggi and Quentin, but all of them a are profitable. But as a new player you'll want to do Sarah's quests as much as you can to get started with building up your sP. You can go to Prefs > Widgets and add the Quests to your sidebar to make them easier to access. Customizing your widgets to your liking will make navigating around here easier!

Thank you for that. I set up my dashboard now and that will help a lot. I do agree though that is better than Neopets. I'm really enjoying it here and I just got/learned my pet could have a job. Have you tried Tattered World? I really enjoy that a lot as well.
