So I've been here since technically 2004 maybe earlier, and have been through every up and down here and wackass event and funnie user drama and this n that. And everytime I'm reminded of this place, and log in, not only am I hit with the best and fond memories of obtaining each pet, and the users I've met along the way. I'm also hit with a heavy dread that one day it won't be here haha.

Although I'm an artist and can just draw out my babies I've slaved over and have been with me since I started, what other ideas could I do to keep them with me forever? If this place ever did up and die out in the next few years. A lot hold precious memories as do most pets do for the majority of the users and I cant bear to just see them poof so I need to find something to really seal them in somewhere hmmm.

Why not make a journal? Each pet could have its own artwork, who they are to you, the memories you associate with them etc.

it takes some work, but you could always save the pet profiles locally! c:

basically you just copy + paste the whole source code (so the whole pet profile not just the editable bit) into a blank document, save it as an .html file and then you can open it on any browser

though you also have to replace two things otherwise the pages will look broken ="// --> ="http:// ="/ --> ="http://subeta.net/

and ofc no matter what happens to the actual site the saved version won't change at all

I took screenshots of some of my old pets on that uhh, other major pet site, years ago. Worked surprisingly well as far as bringing back memories. :) I like the other two suggestions as well, though, especially the journal.
