Wasnt there a certain time of year that you were supposed to read books...like a read a thon or something? I dont see it listed as a holiday so I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me...thanks

In the past there have been reading drives

These are not holidays or seasonal events and have occurred randomly so you wont find it on the holiday calendar. There hasn't been one in a while (I think 2013?) - Theres no way of knowing if there will be another one or something similar with a different set of items.

You can still get some of the reading drive prizes in the antique shop

I believe that staff have said that reading drives will not happen again, and that is why most of the prizes have been put in the Antique Shop.

There was something about the book drives not happening again because they drove book prices up exorbitantly, and people would hoard piles of them in their vaults for the next one, so the prices never really came back down.

I never got to participate in them myself, and I was bummed when I learned they were not going to do them again. But I'm also glad that books are mostly affordable, except the hard-to-obtain ones.

Reading drives were about hoarding books outside of the event, turning them to Archie the Archan Librarian and then asking for two weeks when the event would be over.

the smarter your pet is the more spells they can cast. This only matters if your pet fights. Your pet can also make stronger scrolls the more INT they have, this is only intermittently profitable to sell the already-made scrolls.
