So, there are A LOT of books on Subeta- a lot of VERY expensive books... I want to get the Fact Checker job for my owl, Elderbeak, but he's only at 290 books so far. I'm glad they added the 'see what is missing' section, but it's still difficult trying to figure out which ones I can afford and which ones I'll have to put on the back burner. How have you guys been able to manage organizing the books you need?
Personally, I created a dedicated wishlist category for books, and wishlisted all the books I don't have. At that point you can sort by "user price" to see which books are cheapest to buy on shop search right now.
Wishlisting everything you need also helps if you're doing quests and get rewarded a book you need. You know right away you needed it because of the wishlist border.
Or when someone is doing a big sale in the forums and you wishlist search in their shop and see you can get a book you need for half off or something.
I hope that makes sense and helps out!
edit: and to elaborate in case you didn't know, when you make the book category you can set it to "default" and click the +wishlist on all the items in "what is missing" page for the books and they all go into the new book wishlist category so you don't have to sort them manually.
i used subetalodge to make a checklist of books my pet had read (which it has an automated function for, so no need to do it manually) and then used the "items you need" list sorted by user price.
the info for doing so is on this page (scroll down to where it says "book collections").
