So I know I am going to get a lot of flack from this but I am just so dang tired of the crystal shop! I understand items like Legendary weapons being so limited but a Carrot? Come on! Right now there are 2 in the shop search and those are both in the same shop so the price tag is 99 mill sp! Honestly I feel items like plushies, beanbags, books, and food should not ever be that limited. It just makes things super frustrating. Even the token shop restocks better than this. Honestly it is not even the carrot because I just need that for food item but it seems like lately this has been happening to a lot of items. Maybe I have just not been around long enough to know better. I thought the point of bringing items back in circulation was bringing enough back where they are actually affordable? I am not trying to be critical I am really actually just confused. Has it always been like this? When would these items that were so limited ever go back into the crystal shop? In other words an item like that carrot would it go back in there pretty quickly or will it be years before its ever back in there?
"Actually affordable," in Subeta lingo of late, means sit and quest for hours at a time. I have neither the time nor the patience for.
While we're on the topic of salty feedback...
The Crystal Shop and Blackheart Hallow seem to both be on their way to becoming outmoded and rather useless in terms of if you don't spend hours on here a day, you're out of luck. (Excluding the Hallow's automatic punting you out if you refresh too many times.) Not to mention the sheer overpriced nature of the items there but I think the op touched on that better than I can.

BHH and Crystal Shop were never things done for casual players - and that's fine; not everything has to be easily accessible to players that connect 10 or 15 minutes per day.
"Right now there are 2 in the shop search and those are both in the same shop so the price tag is 99 mill sp! Honestly I feel items like plushies, beanbags, books, and food should not ever be that limited. "
Then, what do we limit, because I'm 100% sure people who like wearables wouldn't want wearables to be that limited either. Same with minion collectors, and people striving to have a complete sticker collection. At some point, there need to be some harder to get items - long term goals aren't a bad thing.
I am not a casual player and I still miss most things in the crystal shop because I have that type of luck. When I am active I am here daily for pretty much all day so you can be a really active player and still miss this stuff and that is what is really frustrating about the whole thing. If you miss 20 minutes of being on here you can miss something really important. In my opinion it should just not be like that. If you miss a token shop restock then most of the items do become somewhat affordable at least because there are enough restocked. BHH items restock enough and stay in circulation so most of those items are affordable as well. When I first began playing, the crystal shop was full of items. I put in the work vending and fragging and buying an item every day until I was able to obtain every item(some multi use) I needed from there. It was fun and enjoyable clicking those items off my list and not worrying so much about them selling out within the first 20 minutes. That was a goal that I worked very hard at. But it was an obtainable goal so it was not frustrating. I understand what you are saying but in my opinion it was so much more fun when the items were actually obtainable past the first 20 minutes they were put in there. I understand this will most likely never change so I guess it just a vent for me and again not trying to be critical in any way. I guess I just wanted to see what others felt about it and ask if it has always been so limited on the stock. I honestly do not have any plans to get every single plushie, beanbag, etc on this game so I guess it really does not matter that much. I guess it just gives me some anxiety that there will be an achievement item(Edward) or some item that I have been waiting for forever stuck in there and they will not restock enough of them and I will miss it. I still would like to know how often these items get put back in? Does it just depend on how limited they are in shops?
EDIT: There have been more carrots put in shops since the OP.
The Fragmentizer Crystal Shop has not always been like this. If it has lots of items, people complain. If it has no items people complain. If the items are cheap, people complain. If items are expensive people complain. If there are large batches of an item people complain. If there are small batches of an item people complain. As a result of this, it mutates constantly. It's always going to piss people off because it's the sole source for many items that you would never be able to get. This is the thing that will not change, and it can't.
Windmills do not work that way. The FCS does restock and it does so sporadically over time. It is not like the Token Shop where you have a 24 hour window. The carrots existed before, they got dropped via Free Shop before, and now they are FCS. Users just happen to like them a lot.
I fragmentize anything that sells for anything like what an HPC costs, and get those kinds of things without thinking about it from questing. To me, speaking of complete wastes of time, it's not worth keeping these HTS items around clogging my shops. This doesn't take hours. Fragmentization is easy and can handle like five hundred items at a time. This doesn't take hours. I had like 145,000 of these casually banked before the recent spate of drops.
I own most of the BHH items and they definitely cost a lot less in sP than the time necessary to restock something there. I know how much effort it takes because I pop in there casually often it's one of my browser bookmarks for Subeta. To me, that I can totally get these things with something that flows like water like sP, is by defnition 'not expensive'.
As for users doing speculation, well sP flows like water. What else would you do with them?
honestly i feel like the reason past crystal shop restocks have been such a pain is because they were so infrequent?
if it stocked more often (like it used to) people would have an incentive to spend crystals, whereas now people just hoard them so when a desirable item drops they can buy multiples to sell (which absolutely no shade of course lmao this is a game with fake money do what you want)
so like i think the way it works is fineβ’ but i rly wish it stocked more often or at least often enough that i stop forgetting it exists π
All that makes sense, thank yall. I do keep a pretty regular flow of crystals but I always just seem to miss the restocks. It is not lack of crystals that is my problem. I think you may be right about it just not stocking frequent enough though. Either way my questions have been answered so I am going to go ahead and close the thread.
