I’m hoping there’s someone here that can give me some advice on creating CWs in procreate? My laptop is pretty ancient and I haven’t used it to make CWs in a long time because it’s so slow, but recently I’ve been using Procreate on my iPad to draw and I’m hoping to get back in to CWs now that I can afford to submit them. Does anyone have any advice on what brushes to use and the best way to save the images without them getting too distorted? Any advice is muchly appreciated.

Would also love some advice on this - I made a start on some CWs years ago but was never brave enough to finish/submit them; have a new iPad and Procreate now, as well as a renewed interest in Subeta/CWs, so would love to finally get a CW(s) of my own onsite.
Adding my interest to this as well (wheeze)
Procreate is great for everything except cws it seems rip

I haven't tried to make cws on procreate, but I made a tutorial on my youtube channel talking about making Twitch emotes using it- it could apply the same.
You might want to check it out, see if it helps? You'll need to save the HA bases to your iPad so you can draw on that properly. I bet if you did it right, you could make some stuff on Procreate- just takes a bit of creativity.
Here's the link to the video if you wana check it out. :) Let me know if it helps?
all the stuff I draw for the site is done solely in procreate, so it’s definitely possible! are a couple of the most recent clothing items I’ve done.
I start with a full avatar base sized up slightly (I think the full-size we offer is 250x500, but I’ve got it at 255x510 because I was having an issue with thick lines.)
I used to line with the default Studio Pen under the Inking tab at 6%, but I found that it would end up a bit sharp. Still, i hate messing with settings, so if that’s something you like to do, you might find that brush viable.
I currently line using default Soft Airbrush under Airbrushing at 1% size and full opacity. You might have to go over some areas a few times, but I find this preferable to the sharpness of the Studio Pen.
For coloring and shading, I go back to the Studio Pen. It’s great for flatting.
Exporting is the tricky part, and I generally do handle that with another program (I have to for items, as they’re gifs) However, I think it should be fine to just resize the canvas for an overlay and export as a .png. I’m pretty sure I’ve been able to do this with some backgrounds and upload them directly to the site without issue. You’ve just gotta be sure you’ve toggled off your background layer so it’s transparent in the right places.
Aaah that’s so good to know, thank you so much for the advice! I can’t wait to give CWs in Procreate a go! I was struggling before with the sharpness but I hadn’t though of using the airbrush, I’ll give it a go for sure!

thank you so much! Going to test things out now
Tysm for the guidance! So helpful. Will check the video out tomorrow.
I had been using the medium airbrush at 1% full opacity for lineart, but soft does feel much nicer. Will give the studio pen a go for colouring as well; hadn’t really thought to try a different brush for colouring/shading..
Definitely reassuring to know there are already wearables on-site that have been made using Procreate c:.
