so I read this book years ago..it was in my middle school library. I remember it had a doll a cat. the doll was a key take the doll through the fence and you go back in time. the past there is house and sick child. present time no one lives there. the doll belongs to the sick child but it was never returned. that's all I can remember... the lady that didn't return the doll in the past did get a 2nd chance and returned it in the end.
