my shop was doing so well for the last week, but no. now for the last three days everyone suddenly decided it would be ok to list things at either my exact prices or 1-2 sp less after I spent two hours listing everything at significant discounts. it's hard for me to do numbers with my disabilities and I was so happy and proud of all my work. now even if I put all the time and effort into changing prices every day I still can't keep up with everyone just copying all my hard work. I understand we're all trying to sell and we all want to have the lowest price. but putting actual effort into my prices and having dozens of people outsell me with my own work is just insulting.

Aww sorry about all that, . Seems like people just use the Shop Autopricer. I doubt they would intentionally copy your prices. What I could suggest is to get a Gold Account and use the Shop Autopricer as well, especially since it's tedious to price everything by hand.

This will always happen because everyone wants to sell their stuff.

Your best bet, if you want to sell fast without running into this issue is to post in the Advertising forum (note: this forum is glitched, you may need to reload multiple times before it opens). Make a thread advertising your shop, that you will sell at 10-50% (which ever you choose) and people will make offers and you can set up trades.

Take a look at existing threads to see what other people do to give you an idea of how it all works.

that certainly wasn't a thing in years past, when I was able to afford a gold account. which...many of us can't. so that seems like a pretty unfair feature. I'll look into the forum though, thanks. and thank you, kind stranger, for the presents :)

I put my prices as low as possible so they sell fast because I'm trying to collect enough SP for items since there are a lot of things I want, like hair, since my account is new. I don't have an auto pricer, I just spend 20 minutes every night repricing my shop. I figured the point of selling your things was to make them a lower price so they're affordable for questers and you get sp.

I use the autopricer every day because I've been too lazy to quest and it's the fastest way for me to earn sP to spend on Lumi stuff. I get that it can be annoying but most of the time it's not personal.

People CAN get a needlessly cutthroat at times, but undercutting is just a part of selling items in multiplayer games. And yeah, like someone else pointed out, the autopricer function just copies the lowest market price last submitted on a ten minute queue. And this function happens with just three pushes of a button that you don't even have to look that closely at. No one is trying to burn you or insult you, it's just a feature of the site. AND one of the main reasons people get GA in the first place. I know I feel like I'm in the stone age once I don't have autopricer.

Also, savage undercuts can be a blessing, cuz that just means you buy up those items and flip 'em at a juicy profit. >:] The game goes both ways, lads!

Nothing says you have to price every day. I price when I want and let it sit. Stuff will sell, eventually.
