This might be a stupid question, but I wanted to check in before I do something and get in trouble...
Does the rule against not having multiple accounts also cover accessing the same account on different browsers on the same computer? I was trying to organize my wardrobe into drawers and I realized it works a lot better on Chrome vs. Firefox. I made sure to log out of the site on Firefox while I tried it, and then logged out on Chrome when I was done.
Again, sorry if this is obvious or covered elsewhere, but I feel like there was a site where you weren't allowed to use different browsers, but I can't remember if it was Subeta or somewhere else....
Thanks a lot!
Nope, as long as it's just the one account, you're fine :) I switch between my phone and laptop for Subeta pretty frequently
Not staff, but I'm pretty sure the answer is no. I access my account on the regular from both my laptop and my phone while in my house - sometimes minutes between each other- and it's never been a problem. Not to mention all the times I've moved or been somewhere on vacation.
Having one account accessed from multiple browsers, devices or places is not the same as having multiple accounts accessed from the same place.
If you have someone else who plays Subeta on your computer, this may be an issue that you would want to address with staff in a ticket.
This sort of thing is always best answered in a ticket anyway. But I'm fairly certain they're going to tell you it's nbd. :)
It should be fine to log in to the same account on different browsers, and even different devices (like a phone or tablet or something in addition to your computer) since it's still just the one account that you are accessing.
Multiple accounts would be using two separate accounts with different usernames and account IDs, which is not allowed on Subeta. But just signing in on different browsers is fine if it's the same account that you always use.
Lol we all answered at the same time ;~;
It's always best to file a ticket if you have a question about the rules. :)
