As stated in the subject- I would like to know how often these random events should be appearing. I haven't come across a single map piece, and I've been trying since day one of joining Subeta. I've resorted to buying them, but they're all really expensive. In another thread, someone mentioned that the prices may be high due to a lack of the events happening, could this be the case or are the events just extremely rare?

Random events are not that rare. However there a lot of them and personally, I keep seeing the same ones, the bumbi and the ice battle ones tend to show up a lot. I rarely get map pieces. Maybe one a month? I don't track them, so I can't be sure, its mainly a vague impression, could be rarer than that. And no guarantee on getting a map piece I don't already have when I do get the rare event.

If you check out this Gotta Love those Random Events (post your RE&;s here) you'll see people posting their random events and how often map pieces get posted.

REs get triggered by visiting pages a lot of pages. So if you spend a lot of time on pages that don't reload, you won't get a lot REs.

Well, now that you mention it, I haven't come across a map piece in some time...

I usually read them to my pets, so I would notice, too. I think 's once a month might be a bit generous, but honestly I don't know the last time I saw one, and I'm a very active player (you get a lot of page views doing quests/battling/training of 80+ pets every day).

I get the Oracle and the bees bumbuses quite a bit though. Btw, slightly off topic, but if you don't have the Oracle widget on your sidebar yet, I'd highly recommend getting it and putting it somewhere you can easily see it. I often miss the event itself but the widget tells me when she wants something from me. :)

It's true that you are more likely to get an RE if you do a lot of refreshing. It is also true that there's a gate on them so you don't get them more than once an hour. As and have said some are more likely than others.

However, the likelihood appears to be zero. I looked through the entire thread that Lypsyl linked, and didn't find a single post there finding any Treasure Map or Uncharted Map pieces. That thread starts in April of 2020 and goes 31 pages. It is self-reported though.

I only have Treasure Map Piece 4 in any of my shops/vault. I haven't seen any others since I last mentioned that to you (that was me).

I've got one map piece over the span of 11 years. XD;;

Gosh that's really unlucky. Prior to there being an Achievement to open 100 maps I used to sell these pieces at a discount all the time. I had already gotten into the Blue Building, and the more the merrier.

Well now that yall mention it, I can not remember the last time I got a map piece. It does seem to be a while and the prices do seem to be elevated.
