At the bottom of the zapper page (https://subeta.net/explore/zapper.php) there is an option to "Adopt a Qrykee". You can either create a new one or turn one of your existing pets into one.
If you choose to turn an existing pet into one, it will keep its color as long as the qrykee comes in that color.
