So, for context, I used to make some really hardcore HA's back in the day, and before the new wardrobe came out you could only have 2 items per layer (3 if you had a Gold Account) WELL, I accidentally left some extra stuff on one of my layers just now and it still saved and OH MY GOSH is the item limit gone? Is this REAL? I am stupidly happy about this? It's going to be kind of weird no longer having to be like 'oh but I can't have this on, it's a Face item and I'm already using two...'

Yup! They did away with it a couple of years ago, I believe.

There is a "max items total" limit, but I'm not sure what that is because the last time I used the wardrobe (yesterday) I didn't see it anywhere. But they've been doing a lot of wardrobe revamps lately so maybe it got left out at some point. I'm not sure what would happen if you decided to test the limits. I've never had so many items on that it was an issue.

Yup, there's now just a max limit! Makes HA making much easier. c:

"Currently you can wear 30 items on your avatar if you are a regular member and 45 if you are a gold account member." As per the FAQ.

I was so excited when I learned the item limit was gone. Back then making HA's was a delicate balance but now it's a free for all. So much better and I'm secretly hoping they don't bring layer limits back.

Back then, making HA's was so frustrating especially when the wardrobe was broken constantly. Some of those earlier HA's were a total cringe fest too. I remember using for almost every HA back then.

It was oddly fun to see when staff added in items to the wardrobe because you could Always Know when someone was adding things. Because your HA would suddenly gain or lose items like five or ten minutes before the news post.

Now you just lose items on your HA because the server suddenly said no, you don't own this. At all. Never have. Ever.

I enjoy how it is now, more breathing room.

That makes sense because I swore I had more items in my wardrobe but I've been on here for 12+ years so it's not worth opening a ticket because I don't remember which items are missing at this point.

It's easier and honestly less painful to just repurchase things anymore.

Yeah 100% agree. I don't want to waste the team's time trying to chase down old items because it's been too long and a lot of the older stuff I no longer use.

It was actually pretty fun to change it to timeline view and see what the first items I got on Subeta were! Of course some of them have since gotten revamped and I barely recognize them....

Welcome back! :D And I agree, it's so different now, it's almost like layers don't even really matter anymore? Maybe over the holidays I'll get bored enough to actually organize stuff into drawers finally...

gosh tell me about, back in the day making decent looking HAs was a giant pain in the ass but now it's so easy, i'm literally wearing 11 different items on the face layer alone rn
