I forgot to go to Melody's Cottage twice and I can't remember if there is a way to collect the items so I don't loose my streak. So is there one or is it too late?

To avoid missing it I would highly recommend adding the Melody's cottage widget to your sidebar. It has a sugar cookie when you need to collect and an empty plate when you have collected. I put mine right under my basic info widget during the month of December. :)
