after some long deliberation and debating with myself I’ve come to the conclusion that I want to open a writing shop. /as all my current unfinished personal projects glare at me

i’ve been a longtime leisure writer and am a huge fan of writing character stories for pets. these stories can come with a variety of styles, perspectives and themes.

∙ my preferred styles/genres are: crime, apocalyptic, thriller/horror, fantasy/science fiction and generally anything that can provide a sobering insight on the human condition. I like writing darker stuff the most. I’m also open to writing writing you multiple/sequential entries for your series/connected storylines. 3rd is my comfort zone but feel free to request a 1st or 2nd person POV, too.

∙ that being said, I am comfortable writing in almost any genre or style. (see below for wont’s)

∙ please implement a credit somewhere on your pet’s page that states the story was done by . this can be as simple and unintrusive as you like, as long as it’s there and it’s visible.

how it works

∙ fill out the story form provided below. enter any specific details you want implemented for sure into your story. anything left blank will be improvised by yours truly taking into account any other preferences listed.

∙ i should have an outline/rough draft of the story ready approximately ~1-2 days following your form submission and acceptance. I tend to loosely plan the outlines for my stories and employ the write-as-you-go method for the bulk. ∙ I will provide you with a skeleton of the story including major plot-points and story beats in the form of a plot summary before starting the real writing process for your story. At this point, you can let me know any comments/concerns about the direction of the story and if you’d like anything added or altered before the real work begins. Which leads to...

∙the final writing and editing process should take ~3-5 days give or take a couple depending on my current workload, length of your story, other commissions in the queue and how I’m feeling. this includes coding/formatting the story for subeta for you. (feel free to fiddle with the formatting as you please.) ∙ if you think of anything you want altered or added during or past this point, message me and let me know- i’ll see what i can do for you.

∙ once all the i’s are dotted and t’s crossed, and I’ve linked you the final product through pastebin, it’s time for payment. story lengths are approximated and will vary per pet, but general sizes to choose from are:

hey there, thanks so much for your interest! i’m avoiding waitlisting at the moment just because i don’t want to commit to anything i won’t be able to get around to in a reasonable amount of time. sadly i’ve been super busy with work & life stuff lately so my writing time has taken bit of a hit.

damn. can't wait until you open up again, wish i discovered your shop sooner! i have two crime/mystery-related pets i've been sitting on for aaaages bc if i tried, the story would probably turn out like blue's clues both in word choice and plot lol q_q
