just wondering, does Subeta allow cross-site trading with say, Goatlings? i wanted to know before i made a huge mistake.

no. https://subeta.net/help/rules.php?act=rule&id=34
you didn't have so say it so bluntly. That kinda hurt. a simple "Sorry, but no" would've worked just fine. you also didn't have to link the rule. That's acting like I know nothing.

Luck wasn't rude - they've told you the answer you needed to have, as well as gave you the source for their answer.
to me, a flat "No." seemed kinda rude. also, i never once asked for a source. you see, I would never just say "No" if the question was a yes/no answer. if the answer was no, i'd say "Sorry, but no". THAT is more polite.

I believe that posting the source is more polite than anything else, but I guess we have to agree to disagree on that.
When you're asked for information, you should be overjoyed to have as much detail as possible.
i didn't mind the source, as much as I minded Luck's flat, blunt, answer. If someone's not going to be polite and not blunt about answering a question, don't answer it.

I quoted the rule for easy reading within the thread as well as the source, which I thought would provide a more official answer than a random user just saying no without any evidence. I didn't add more because I didn't have more to add, and I needed to go AFK and wanted to give you an answer ASAP so I hit post and got up. I didn't intend my post to be taken any way except neutrally, so I'm sorry it came off another way.
a simple ‘thank you’ would have sufficed mrs notpolite

i understand. you're completely forgiven. i guess i just misunderstood you, so i'm sorry for saying you were being blunt. Thank you for answering my question, so i didn't make a massive mistake.
