In my almost 16 years on Subeta, I have never once seen something restock in BHH. I know it has random restocking times, but is it 100% random, or is it a chance on every hour/30 minutes/15 minutes/etc? Is it more likely to restock at certain times of the day? Thank you!
the shoutbox folks say that it restocks four to six times a day. I have restocked 197 items there in my nearly fourteen years here. I have only ever seen one and only one item in it at any one time. If it restocked on the regular, I'd never restock anything there, because I am old, arthritic and slow.
As to how far away those restocks are in time, I have on two separate occasions restocked an item only twenty minutes after buying something else/seeing someone else buy. This is well within temporary ban "maleria thinks you've been hanging around too much" limits. So restocks times can be very random IME.
It depends on how often you look there. The problem is, you can't look there TOO often or else you'll get kicked out for a while. That's where the difficulty comes from.
I occasionally look there, sometimes I'm lucky enough to see something, and then even luckier to manage to buy it. This morning I saw something for the first time in ages, but missed it (even though I have the image of the Gate Keeper blocked, I still have to scroll for some reason, maybe I should just stick to looking on my phone where loading a page has it fully zoomed out). Wasn't anything recent though.
Whenever someone says they've gotten something, that usually puts me off looking for the rest of the day, even though apparently it DOES stock more than twice a day as I initially believed, and I've seen people say they've seen two items in there at a time before.

As said, if you visit too often, you get booted out for a time. I stopped caring like my 2nd year here and quit looking.
Just to add - there actually can be two items in there at once from experience. I've seen two at once and was able to purchase both items.
It restocks pretty frequently - i'd say i've gotten close to 80 items the past year. You just have to keep checking a few times an hour. Some days i'll snag a few items...other times i'll go a week with nothing.
