Not sure if this is a bug/glitch or just me having done something silly, but I had intended to turn my pet

Midnight Galactic yesterday. It used to be a Reborn Bumbus but I wanted to make it a Galactic Legeica instead. But I had forgotten to turn it into a legeica before going to the Coda Caves and didn't realize it until after I chose the pet to be blessed. So, I quit Iltallo's quest thinking I'd go and change the pet into the correct species and then actually do the quest. But when I came back to Iltallo the specific pet wasn't listed anymore. And I have no idea if this is an intended thing or not, as in if it's a cooldown kinda thing or not. Does anyone know? Or is it a glitch/bug?

The ability to change to galactic is only available the 7th and 8th of every month. So no glitch or bug just timing.

I was able to do it outside of those days in August though which is why I'm confused. I used to be convinced that it was only available those 2 days every month but just for the fun of it I decided to try it anyway and it worked. This pet was created on August 1st and I turned him galactic either the same day I created him or the next day I believe. Either way it was before the 7th and 8th of that month

You are right that you can change a pet to Galactic any day of the month. The limit is for collecting crystals, which is on the 6th and 7th. I just tried and confirmed this with one of my pets.

I also tried starting a quest with another pet and cancelling it, I then got a popup saying "If you cancel this quest, you will not be able to start a new quest for the same pet for the next 30 days. Are you sure you want to cancel?"

Maybe you didn't get the popup?
