Names are no longer unique. so you can create any name you want, now. :D Well, that's kind of disappointing :'c Wonder why they changed it?

Because the unique name system wasn't good for the community - there is something a little creepy with stalking people and hope they leave the site.
That's not really a sustainable model for sites anymore.
