I see there is a description box when I go to edit my gallery.. is there any way to make it and my shop 'pretty'?

To answer your second question, you need 1,500,000 sP to do Saggi's quests. I don't know enough about customizing shops/galleries to help you with that, sorry!

Thank you for your help. Hopefully someone else will weigh in on the coding question. I tried a couple shop layout codes from subetalodge, but they didn't shop up in my shop. Sadness. =(

It is possible to do coding in a shop/gallery, but first make sure you have your preferences set to show layouts in user shops and galleries.

Personally, I think layouts in shops are a waste of time because (1) the way the shop search works, no one is actually visiting your store and will never see it, and (2) anyone could have that preference disabled, and they too would never see it even if they did for some reason visit the store.

If you wanted to do one for a gallery to show it off, that makes more sense, but there will still be some who don't see it due to that preference.

Shop/gallery coding is also pretty limited in what it can do. I'm not 100% sure what the limitations are because I haven't spent much time trying to code for them.

My recommendation if you have a collection you want to show off is to use a pet instead and make their TC their focus. It will be more expensive up front (to get TC slots), but it will be more visible and much more customizable.

tl;dr - Yes, it is possible, but I would not advise it.

Also, I visited your profile after posting that and I saw you have some impressive galleries with lots of items in them. I can totally understand why you'd want to make them look pretty.

I didn't mean to be a total naysayer of shop/gallery layouts. If you want to do it for yourself, that makes sense. It's just that it can be something that takes up a lot of time (as coding usually does, unless you find a pre-made that meets your needs from the get-go) and offers very little reward (in terms of it ever being seen by others).

If you do end up doing one, please let me know, as I'd love to see it!

And it's fine, I know most people wouldn't see my coding, like you said.. that's not the way the shop search works.. but it is more for me than anything. hehe

I'm not much of a coder, and you aren't allowed to edit the coding on SubetaLodge.. so maybe I can find someone to do a basic code for me that I'm allowed to change the images for... I enjoy messing with it.
