I like the Sequenz EP by neosignal, a lot of 80s influence.

Old, and obsolete.

Not sure if you're still looking, but an album I love that I think fits you're requirements maybe is High Highs to Low Lows by Lolo Zouaï. I stumbled upon her last year and really like her stuff. Maybe some stuff by Unlike Pluto, as well. Love pretty much all his music and the dude puts out A LOT of music. His is more electronic though, and less chill pop. Still quite a bit of chill stuff though.

There's an artist named Matilda who has music really similar to Girl in Red and she's been on repeat for me. I actually kind of like her more than Girl in Red. (don't kill me lesbros!!)

Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!

As someone who mostly listens to punk and alternative rock, I will try my best to find some good ones! A lot of these sound pretty different from each other, so hopefully at least one of them hits the mark:

Mtn Tune by Trails and Ways Fool by Cavetown Cath... by Death Cab for Cutie Fire for You by Cannons In My Head by Old Man Canyon Meet You at the Gate by Jayne Trimble The Night We Met by Lord Huron Obstacles by Syd Matters Only Heather by Wild Nothing Anchor by Novo Amor Galapagos by the Smashing Pumpkins Feel the Pain by Dinosaur Jr. When Am I Gonna Lose You by Local Natives Aqueous Transmission by Incubus

I don’t have a very large chill playlist, but here are some of my favorites. If you like one or more of these I might be able to recommend more songs from the same artist

a couple of my favorite albums are: 'gone now' by bleachers 'i'll be your girl' by the decemberists 'be the cowboy' & 'puberty 2' by mitski 'masseduction' & 'st. vincent' by st. vincent

also the front bottoms are a pretty good band. same with mother mother.

LITERALLY ANYTHING by alicebanD, best songs in my opinion are: 'it gets better', 'home', 'wolf', 'worms', & '...like global warming'

another one i thought of: imogen heap. very chill, her best album to me is 'speak for yourself'

Law of the Fish by The Radiators! Might not be your type of music, but they fit with the upbeat and chill stuff!

I've got a few gems from the last box of albums I got really cheap from Half priced books, value village, and other used CD stores.

Fur and Gold by Bats for lashes

Shri Durga by Dj Cheb I Sabbah (I can't find the full album on youtube sadly)

The Orchard by Holly Henry

Between Now and Then by O.A.R

Red by Datarock

Wishville by The Catherine Wheel

Thirteen tales from Urban Bohemia by The Dandy Warhols (The track "Sleep" is especially chill)

Rivers and rainbows by Detroit social club (The full album is called "Existence". Unfortunately I can't find the full album on youtube, I highly recommend looking through more of their stuff though)

Villains by The Verve Pipe (I mistook this band for "The Verve" when I picked it up, but I was pleasantly surprised and it was still a win even if I got a band I wasn't trying to get. The Verve is the band that wrote the song "Bittersweet Symphony")

Dream Cave by Cloud Control These guys are pretty chill

Arches and Aisles by The Spinanes Also pretty chill

Fenua By Fenua It's pretty upbeat and kinda nice.

The final Straw by Snow Patrol

Raoul and the Kings of Spain By Tears for Fears This album kicked off a Tears for Fears phase for me. This whole album is really great.

Moon Safari By Air

Lanterns by New Lungs They're a local band in my area that I think disbanded some years ago. They've got some cool stuff. If you want to listen to more of them check out their Bandcamp They've got another EP up there.

Re: By Kashiwa Daisuke I cannot reccommend this artist enough. I encourage you look through all their music. There are a few songs they have that are very glitch heavy, on a few of the albums, but I just can't put into words at the moment how to describe it. Really good stuff.

Come and Join CLose Your Eyes Become Blind We're on Our Way to Eskju Divine By...Eskju Divine Wow that's a mouthful of an album title. I've actually not heard this album before, I own an EP by them. It's called "Struck by the Halo EP." It's got this one song on it that I really love but I can't seem to find it on youtube. The song is called "Our days were Golden"

The majority of these that I've linked are albums... So that is probably more than enough for now. Uhhh, I guess if anyone needs any music recommendations or is bold and wants to try something new, Let me know, I've probably got something new you might like. I've got a wide music taste.
