I'm new here and I'm curious to know where are you playing from.

Tell me something about your culture: what do you listen to, what do you like to eat, idk, let's get to know about new places!

I'll begin:

I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. Maybe you know the stereotypes (carnival and samba) but our cultural scene is really big and multicultural, because our country was formed by inumerous nationalities. I personally enjoy techno and house raves. And eating sushi, and the national dish of rice and beans!!

Just a late bloomer from the crossroad of Texas, New Mexico and the Mexican state of Chihuahua. In some trips around the city I can clearly see the hated wall... it'll never be high enough.

I listen to standard rock, and Rock en Español, some metal, and the flood of DNB with its many branches.

Oh yes sushi! I'm only begining to appreciate this kind of cuisine, plus I'm looking into learning about vegetarian recipes.

I used to portray a different character here, one Vioran Soldier. A self portrait is still on my profile, and is part of a jumbled and sketchy story I want to someday self publish.

I've never been to Texas or New Mexico, but I have been to Mexico. Altough I'm not sure that it counts because it was a very cliche touristic trip to Cancun (I did get to visit Chichén Itzá so I think it was worth it in the end). And in the USA the only place I visited, more than once actually, is Miami, because my parents have imigrated and are living there now.

And you will not regret japanese cuisine, I promise, even if you fully transition to vegetarian, there's a lot of dishes like misoshiro, the famous yakisoba and onigiri that don't have any meat!

I saw your profile, a Vioran Soldier seems like something interesting to read about. Do you have more stuff that you wrote? I'm currently working on writing my pets stories, but I still have to find some time to think everything though haha and writing in english makes it more complicated

Last but not least, I believe we are all learning to be human, we all experience the world in our own different ways so theres not an answer to what human means

I totally agree about the cuisine, my limited understanding states that Chinese and Japanese use little to no meat in everyday preparation.

The story of Viorans is still unwritten, just a bunch of pictures and trivia with simple ideas for the individual and unrelated paths my characters take.

I'll find my way, which at this point is in solitary. I feel too old to want to try.

Yes! And to be fair, the japanese/chinese food we eat in reastaurants tends to be different from what they eat on a daily basis, is more like something they would eat in special days I think. Still pretty amazing haha

And about the writing: to be honest I feel I am on the same page. When I was younger I really enjoyed drawing my characters but their stories were on my mind, I never got to write more than a few chapters, I feel I always focused on their encounters but once I figured out how they all got together I didn't know where else to go. I think of Subeta as an opportunitty to go beyond this point maybe.... lets see.

Do you write something for your pets as well?

In my own defense, if my pets have short descriptions, its because I feel words are the least expressive communication. Captura for example, is best said in one phrase. Pets like Ahkoum and Telsa Audio have connections to my Vioran character, so there is the loss for wording.

I am from Nebraska! I love it here, except for the snow/ice in the winter. I tend to play a lot of video games. I listen to a lot of different music. I have listened to K-pop and J-pop at times. Also, a little Caramella Girls. I will pretty much listen to everything except songs that make me sad. I tend to stay away from those. I also eat a variety of foods. Mainly unhealthy foods, unfortunately. I love the egg rolls that I get from the store. I also like pizza and a lot of other things. I don't really care for salads, but pretty much anything besides veggies is a go for me.

Some of my pets are named after actual pets that I have had. Some are just pets I created on a whim. I haven't really created much of a backstory for any of them.

Hello! I'm from Southern California, and I'm with you on loving japanese & chinese cuisine! I'm a lazy cook and probably one of the reasons Postmates or Ubereats is booming in my area. I love boba, so I'm thankful that there are a variety of choices/shops in my area to choose from. I used to watch a ton of anime back in the day but nowadays I'm just mostly on youtube and netflix. I'd love to visit Brazil one day! (when this pandemic dies down u__u).

A lot of left held items here. I know of one left held dagger that is also reverse grip. I'd much prefer a sword, I use my cosplay Spartan sword that way. That's a wearable I'd buy.

I've visited Southern California a few years ago, Legoland was quite a place. The last thing I saw before going home was one of the beaches, and ispo facto the Pacific Ocean. Those were different times.

Didn't even notice they were left held, but a sword would be a great idea!

Ooh, guessing you were in the San Diego area? They have nice beaches for sure, but ironically I love nothing more than relaxing up in the mountains and by a lake. Maybe it's because of the peace and quiet, and definitely a lot less smog and rampaging drivers :,) Though I still do love sunsets by the beach, especially when there's not many people around.

Ahhh thank you for reading Naabi's profile, I'm glad you liked it. Summer feels nice, still quarantined and all but my garden is growing beautifully with all this sun, I love when the weather is like this. How is winter back in the other side of America? haha

Oh, I am also not a bif fan of winter haha, I love tropical weather more than anything, if it's 15C (59F) I'm already suffering beneath my blankets. But I really want to see snow sometime, go out skiing and all, I've never seen snow! I was into k-pop for a while too, back when the big guys were Bigbang, 2NE1, Super Junior haha and I was a really big fan of j-rock, visual kei and mainly, Miyavi <3 But I'm kind of outdated now, if you know some good songs I would love to hear them :3

I get the lazy cook vibes! XD When I first started living by myself, I always forgot to get groceries and I found myself ordering food late at night, until I realized I was spending too much haha. Boba is that tea right? Here in my city we have a Japanese district, where you can find many asiatic shops, food, manga, anime fans in cosplay haha, I want to go there some day to try boba as well, good reminder you gave me! Ah, the Japanese district is called Liberdade (portuguese for Freedom). I'll show you a picture of how it looks :)

Its been "What winter?" the last few years, it hasn't dipped below 20C since the solstice. I can understand being busy in studies, my class ends the week of Dec 12. I'm certain I passed, what I do know about my grades are well in the A range.

I may reward myself buying a Switch game, I'm debating between Pokemon Sword, or Kirby Star Allies. The expanded version is 40 USD more, but I'm developing an interest in Kirby.

[edit] Which turned out to be Sword, with the expansion. After fulfilling my goal on Let's Go Eevee, I caught a Dragonite, which followed defeating and capturing Mewtwo.

My classes started a bit late (because of all the pandemic chaos) so we expect to have a break from December 24th to January 4th and then go back to studies haha. I am in the first semester of I.T. and it's all new for me so I'm trying to maintain discipline and really learn. And what abou you, what do you study?

As for the switch game, good choice on Pokemon! I've played a bit of Let's Go Evee but it was my friend's switch so I couldn't finish haha but it was the cutest thing to walk around the map having a pokemon following me, nice touch. If I had a Switch though I think my first game would be Animal Crossing,from what I've seen it's the most relaxing game ever and I love those. But for now I only have a ps4 and my pc, the game I'm currently enjoying most is Genshin Impact!

I'm studying automotive technology, which in my opinion isn't particularly difficult to understand.

I'll be spending the week studying for finals and make up work. I know my grades, I want to have as good an "A" as possible.

I het such a kick watching my character ride Dragonite, even though he can fly himself.

Hi ya'll! I'm from Pennsylvania, born in the capitol but all my family is from Pittsburgh area which is about 3.5 hours from my home town. I'm also about 20 minutes from Hershey Park so that's always been cool.

I like a lot of grunge, rap, hard rock, indie, pop, 80's, R&B and so much more! My favorite artists are John Legend, Lifehouse, Nirvana, Three Days Grace, Anberlin, Sleeping With Giants and I'm forgetting some of course. My taste in music is very eclectic!

I used to be a very picky eater but since I've gotten married I've started experimenting with foods with the help of my super supportive husband and it's been so much fun! One of my favorite Pennsylvania meals is chicken pot pie with the thick square noodles. I do eat a lot of unhealthy foods but I'm working on fixing that! I too am a fan of sushi and japanese dishes although probably not nearly as much as you all have mentioned in here so far. I also really like thai food!

I've been to many states in the US but have never left the country. I hope that I get the chance some day, I've always wanted to visit Italy and Amsterdam. My dream would be to take like 6 months and just travel everywhere I possibly can. :)

I seem opposite, I regularly visit Mexico but only three American states.

I can agree with some of your musical interests, back in my youth one radio station played Nirvana way too often. Whereas the one I now flock to plays all that and then some.

My eating habits have swinged to and fro the last years, from voracious to near absence of appetite.

I would love to have sushi for a send off to the semester I'm currently finishing. I look forward to my reward of Pokémon Sword with expansion.
