Who is your most intelligent pet, how many books have they ready, and how do you keep track of what to buy next?

I'm planning for Asin to have higher intellect than Luddy but only around 600~800 since they're mostly story pets. Nii's my battle pet so she'll go beyond the cap.

Poseidon. He is my main battle pet as well so that's why he gets all the books.

For keeping track of books, you can join SubetaLodge, a Subeta fansite. On there you can make checklists for books read, food eaten, trading cards, plushies, wardrobe, etc. That's how I keep track of what Alivia has read.

from abysso's books read list you can get to the unread books list to see which ones you're missing! it will take a while, but i recommend adding them all to a wishlist so you can sort them by user price and easily check which ones you're missing c:

My most well read pet is HaneKistune. Each of my pet have something of a theme that I try to stick to but I also want them to have a good job. For some of my pets that will mean working toward a very high intelligence. I also have two fan pets that I want to high very high intelligence because it fits their characters. I am still working on them since I only got them this year.

Here are my tips for acquiring books. Books will always go up in price eventually so if you have extras don't sell low. During event like the current one or when the site is very glitchy it can be easier to find rare books in the book nook since people are busy elsewhere. Right now the price on Lounge trinkets if very low. Although there are not many books in the lounge you can convert those trinkets into steamworks trinkets and there are a lot of books in the Steamworks Menagerie. For the collection items you can use Morty Cards and go to the bathhouse daily to get CSC to buy them each month. The bathhouse is also the best way to get referral points if you don't have a lot of friends to invite to the site. And there are four books in the bathhouse shop.

For the ones in the cash shop you can do the same but for the one retired from the cash shop your best bet is the Black Friday sale because they bring back a lot of items each year for it.

Lastly don't forget to do your Shinwa, Blue Building, Quentin, and Library quests. Shinwa does have a book or two as a random reward. There are books in the Blue Building shop, though the are some requirements to gain access to the shop. Alexander the library quest giver randomly rewards you with books and Quentin will give you mage amulets. If you take the mage amulets to the Mage he will turn them into shards or tomes. The tomes are items that will increase your pets stats but they can also be read to your pet and if you get extras they sell for a little over 3mil minimum. I recommend not taking the amulets to the mage until you have quite a few since I feel like I have better luck that way.

I don't remember what the forum requirement is but it should be very easy to achieve during Morostide event if you haven't reached your goal before then. Morostide, Luminaire, Pandemic, and Vesnali all get their own forums and you end up posting a lot. Oh and if you didn't know you should save up wizard tokens for the pet zapper. During Morostide you can zap your avatar to collect the skins in the wardrobe.

Yep these skins are from the zapper during Morostide and these are from the Survival/Pandemic event. The pandemic ones are actually a little harder to get because they can take up to 6 days to earn. So you only have time during the event for a few of them each year. I usually start with an older one I know I want and then get a new one if I like it.

Back to the book shopping I hope you are trying to buy the ones in the Freyalise Trading Co. Also keep an eye on the user shop prices for those books since you might want to buy them before the event ends while their prices are lower.

And don't forget these specialty shops. GoOutside Medicontra Zombie Den Most of the books they sell will be cheaper in the shop than the user shops so if you go straight to the shop you can save some money.

I chuck all my books at Bibliothecaire to be read so I guess her. I didn't really designate her to be the smartest though. Her name is French for librarian so it just fit. At the moment, her book count is at 482 but with that said, I don't really choose which books to read to her. It's more if I have a book she hasn't read yet, let's chuck it at her to read. My battle pet is Huo though, and if the book is already read by her, I usually have him read it if he hasn't already.
