Some of you might remember when I shared a while back about getting fired from my former job of five years. Well, I've been through a lot since then, fighting with them over getting unemployment (which I still haven't got, but I think it's coming now). I had a phone hearing exactly 30 days and a week ago from today. The judge actually listened to me, which was awesome because I felt like I've never been listened to before about this, except by you guys and my parents. Anyways, my former boss didn't even call in to the damn hearing and was represented by someone from corporate instead who had no idea about the intricacies of the issues. I kind of knew right then I'd won. And I did win. I found out about a week after the hearing that they'd overturned their decision to deny me unemployment. My former employer then had those 30 days to appeal and they had to let me know in writing before those 30 days were up that they were appealing. Well, today's basically over, I've gotten the mail, and no appeal is forthcoming it looks like. If I get a letter in the next few days, I just have to prove that I didn't get in within those 30 days. I don't think they're going to appeal though and do you want to know why? This is the best part.

Yesterday, I got a text from a guy who I became friends with (two of his family members lived where I worked - assisted living) and he had something interesting to tell me. He sent a copy of an email he'd received from my former boss. SHE IS STEPPING DOWN FROM HER POSITION. He and I both think, because of the timing, that because she got caught lying about what happened with me, that she got fired and they're allowing her to leave gracefully. I don't care how she leaves. I am just so damn pleased that karma finally caught up with her shit. I texted a couple of former coworkers and they're happy too. Are we all assholes for being happy? Honestly, this woman did so much awful shit to so many people, that I can't bring myself to care if this screws up her life. She's screwed up so many lives it's sickening. I told my one former coworker, karma's a bitch and that bitch works for me now. XD

I came here because i saw "good news" XD Should i congratulate you? congrats! you can at least celebrate a little ;p /throws confetti! It's not fair for good things to happen to bad people. If they let her leave gracefully too bad, but at least she's gone and those people left behind will now have a chance at a better supervisor. I'm pretty sure her superiors won't be recommending her to others. Should teach her a lesson at the very least. /also, sorry, now you have to clean the confetti: it was your celebration, ;p XD
