So, I can't find the answer to this. But if I got an overlay on one of my pets, is the overlay tied to my account, or to the pet? Like, if I decided to adopt it out later on, do I keep the allotted overlay on my account or does it leave with the pet when it goes to it's new owner?

I just really want to know just how sure I need to be when deciding if I want an overlay for one of my pets before I do so. thanks.

The overlay is tied to your account. If you adopted the pet out, the overlay would not stay on the pet, and you could use it for another pet.
