The news just broke on my news alert. It just says that she died today (Friday, September 18th, 2020) and she was 87 years old. My heart is breaking. </3

Ginsburg was such an amazing person. And honestly, even if I was kind of expecting this eventually because she’d been battling cancer on and off for over a decade, I’m still pretty sad by the news though. Also, like I'm actually afraid of what's going to happen next and who will be nominated to replace her. I completely forgot about Breyer, but with Ginsburg's death, the last of the old bloc of moderate/liberal justices is pretty much gone now with only Breyer remaining.

She really did fight until the very end, gotta respect her for that.

I had a literal panic attack. I am so terrified. IDK what we're going to do.

Huge loss. She had been fighting it for so long and especially now for fear of being replaced during this presidential term. I am worried and fearful of what may be accepted as constitutional

I'm afraid too, you guys. I'm afraid of who the orange monstrosity is going to choose as her replacement. 46 days until we vote though...it can't come fast enough.

Death is always sad, I hope Ruth rests in peace and I appreciate her lifes work. The late Justice's deathbed confessional, whether real or not, will not supplant the constitution and how or who has the jurisdiction to pick the next member of the supreme court nominee.
