How often do pets get hungry?

Part of my current Major Drills quest is to feed a pet a Black Licorice Gummy Tooth. Unfortunately, none of my pets are hungry.
How often do pets get hungry? Probably not in time for me to complete my quest, right?

check them now. They have a chance to get hungry every hour if they are not in the Inn or Resort.
You can also pay to make them hungry in the cleansing pools. But that costs 250K so you probably don't want to do that for a drills quest.

LOL yep! If you want to do the feeding and playing quests for drills you need to keep at least one pet out of the resort and without a minion.
