Update as of part 5 on the 11th! There was a link to a giveaway thread in the story and the anon revealed themselves! It was !
Also the fact that I made this thread and the the in between posts for them on the giveaway thread was a complete coincidence. So fantastic that it happened to work out that way!

<p>There&;s a knock at your door. When you open it there&;s... no one around? Ugh... some neighborhood kid probably did a &;ding dong dash&;. How annoying. At least that&;s what it seems like first.</p>
<p>A noise catches your attention and you look down. It&;s... a shark. With a bowl of water on it&;s head. How a shark got this lost you certainly don&;t know. He seems to be wearing a tag that reads;</p>
<p>Baron Bitey -- If lost please return to Captain Lucy on the ship Golden Horizon.</p>
<p>Before you can do anything or see if there&;s any sort of contact number (how do you even reach... well it sounds like a pirate ship?) the shark flops away in the blink of an eye. Huh... He&;s a quick little guy for a shark on land!</p>
<p>Farewell Baron Bitey!</p>
<p>Huh... looks like he dropped something on your doorstop too. A photo that seems like it&;s seen batter days. It also has the phrase &;Enemy number 1!!!&; written on the back. From what you can see it looks like a very elegant lady. The random pirate accessory Bitey dropped doesn&;t match with anything she&;s wearing either.</p>

<p>It&;s been a couple days since you visited by the mysterious Baron Bitey. You wonder where he went... he certainly seemed like a shark on a mission. Hopefully he&;s okay and found his way home. A shark as independent as the Baron is probably just fine though.</p>
<p>Still! You just can&;t get him out of your mind! You even bought a bag of those gummy sharks while you were out grocery shopping. It feels silly but you honestly can&;t wait to get them home to have a few. They&;ll be a nice little treat. Maybe if you see the Baron again you can share one with him! Can sharks even eat gummies? You&;re also not sure how to get past that bowl on his head either.</p>
<p>On your way home you happen but a board outside the community center that&;s free for the public to post things on. There&;s the usuals, yard sale fliers, and help wanted signs... sometimes people put posters on it for missing pets so you decide to check it out and see if anyone&;s missing a shark. What was her name? Lucy...</p>
<p>No missing shark posters but something else does catch your eye. A playing card? You pull it off the board for a closer look. It&;s not a playing card but a business card made to look like one! On the other side it printed;</p>

<p>Ever since the Baron flopped into your life, ever since that brief fate encounter with what may possibly be the world&;s cutest shark your life has certainly seen an uptick in excitement!</p>
<p>There&;s that strange character Diamond Dorian. You checked out his blog and maybe even asked a question or two. He seems pretty enthusiastic about the pirate life... or at least about the pirate aesthetic. There&;s something fishy about that picture he posted though, something feels... off.</p>

<p>You decide to do a little research yourself and see if you can figure out how to find him. There&;s always chum... but you&;re pretty sure your neighbors would NOT appreciate that.</p>
<p>You&;re so caught up in what you&;re doing you miss a call on your phone and don&;t notice that you have a voice mail until later. You don&;t recognize the number, but you&;re curious.</p>

Part 4

<p>There&;s been no word of the Baron or the pirates, either Dorian or Lucy, for a few days now. Dorian hasn&;t updated his blog, and after the initial vaguely threatening voicemail, you&;ve heard nothing from Lucy either. It doesn&;t come as a relief though, far from it. The mystery dogs at you. What happened? A kidnapped shark, a stolen hat...</p>
<p>Who do you believe? Can you believe either of them?</p>
<p>These are the questions you ask yourself as you travel to the sandy beaches of Delphi. Here, surrounded by the ocean&;s embrace you wonder if being closer to water will help you think about the whole ordeal. A few times as you walk the beach you swear you see the shadow of sails out on the horizon. Maybe it&;s your imagination. Maybe you&;re just seeing things. Or maybe you&;re being stalked by a pirate captain who seems to think you had something to do with kidnapping and theft.</p>
<p>The visit to Delphi so far hasn&;t turned up much. It was a long shot though. Where could you go next? The Omen Islands? They are known for pirates. You&;re not even sure how you can get there...</p>
<p>Just as you&;re about to give up hope though... there in the sands, waves licking at it as if trying to draw it back into the sea... is a glass bowl. A helmet. One that looks quite a bit like the Baron&;s! Is it his? Is he here? Did he go into the ocean? Willingly? Or forced?</p>
<p>Your mind races with questions as you try and figure out what your next move will be.</p>

Part 5
</p>
<p>After finding the helmet your search for the Baron hasn&;t turned up anything else. You&;ve walked up and down the beach all day. Dusk has arrived and night is fast approaching. Soon it&;ll be too dark out to really see anything. Ever since the sun began to set the sensation of being watched has only continued to increase.</p>
<p>Exhausted you sit down on an outcropping of rocks by the shore and contemplate the stars beginning to blink into existence across the sky. You hope the Baron is okay. At this point you don&;t want to find him for either of those two pirates. You want to find him and bring him home. You shift where you sit to find a more comfortable position on the cool rocks and feel something poke you. Frowning you pick it up.</p>
<p>A tooth. A shark tooth. Is it the Baron&;s?! Or is this just a coincidence? Before you can think on it any longer a sudden wave of exhaustion sweeps over you. You feel your eyes slide shut.. and you fall into a deep... deep slumber...</p>
<p>You&;re in the ocean, standing on top of it. The water feels almost solid beneath your feet. Before you floating in the surf is a hat. Black with strips of gold and ruby brocade and the prettiest white plumes. You seem to recall something about a missing hat. You reach down to pick it up but before you get to it two other hands appear to get it.</p>
<p>One belongs to a fierce looking woman, hard of face and very stern. She has the look of a Queen and a Scoundrel. You can tell that it&;s blood steeped in years of tradition that runs through her veins.</p>
<p>The other belongs to a young man, bright eyed and naive. He&;s full of the fire of youthful passion and energy. You get the impression that he makes a lot of mistakes but you can&;t have innovation without that.</p>
<p>...up...</p>
<p>You take a step back and watch them squabble over the hat. There&;s someone else here too... Off in the distance and glowing brightly is the largest shark you&;ve ever seen floating gently in the air. He&;s watching the two pirates as well, and somehow he looks... rather... sad...</p>
<p>...ake...up...</p>
<p>There&;s meaning behind all of this! You&;re sure...</p>
