All too often when I go to update my profile, I have to confirm I'm not a robot. It's starting to get annoying.
I've noticed it seems to happen more often when I only make minor changes, like just tweaking a number. Why then and not other times?
Listen, system, I swear I'm not a robot, but I live in a desert. I'm not sure which one of your poorly angled pictures contains a boat so stop asking me!!
It likes to happen a lot when I'm tweaking my pet profiles. :/ And never predictably, either. Sometimes it takes a ton of edits, sometimes it's on the first edit.
THOSE ARE ALL BIKES BUT DO /MOTORCYCLES/ AND SUCH THINGS COUNT. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE IMAGES??? i know what things look like but some of this shit's so vague.
Right?? Sometimes on the bus one, I'm like, is that a bus? Is it a train? Is it some weird bus-train hybrid? Who knows?!
LOL I thought I was the only one who couldn't tell if things counted or not!

captcha: please identify every photo with an airplane in it
me: suddenly forgets everything i have ever known about airplanes, accidentally clicks a picture of a bus instead
does anyone have a good explanation as to why we have captchas in place for pet profiles, it's really getting on my nerves

I get them whenever I update a pet with a profile I've been working a lot on and making a lot of tweaks to. I assumed it was because I kept making lots of little changes rapidly, and messing with the CSS/HTML to get it to look right, but months after I finished, I still get the prompt. :|
I really dislike the photo-based captchas--I just wanna know why some AI needs to learn how to recognize umbrellas, and the dystopian sci-fi writing part of me doesn't trust it.
So I'm not the only one with this issue.....
Yeah, that's happened to me as well.....lots of little changes, then BOOM! Captchas.
