I was.. simply pondering Subeta while browsing around.. and I got an Oracle quest! I had another one earlier this week. Before that I had one a few weeks ago. But I recall a while back seeing another user say they rarely ever received Oracle quests, and were concerned about not reaching the achievements. It all got me wondering: what, exactly, are the chances per page load for the different REs to pop up? Quests, Tempest.. Dandybunnies, lol.. I bet it's even in the code somewhere, though I wish I were knowledgeable enough to check!

Percentages are weird because even if there's a 99% chance of something happening, it could still never happen. Kinda messes with my brain.

I don't think any user knows this one?

there is a cool off period of one hour after you get one RE before you can get another. Therefore "number of clicks" isn't exactly relevant unless you barely play.

I'm one of the people who gets Oracle quests, so I have the Achievement for it. I have the widget for it up all the time though, so I notice getting them even if I dont' notice getting them.

I have thirty five pets and I train them all. If I am just coming back to start my Subeta day, putting them all into training generates 105 clicks and I am almost certain to get one RE in that time. But that's just me as one data point and I am just noticing that it does occur, and not noticing how soon it occurs.

You could start a thread in Genaral or Games asking folks to post how many clicks it takes after first logging on for the day before they get their first RE. This could create the kind of data you would need to find out for sure.

Huh! I’ve asked a question which may not have an answer! Success XD Thanks for the info about the cooldown period—had no idea about that! If I were more math-oriented I’d conduct that experiment (it’s a great idea tbh). But alas. My curiosity ends at asking a question, lol.
