NO, I'M NOT ASKING FOR BONUS WEEKEND BACK DON'T WORRY :D

But honestly, 500 CSC for each is...pretty steep, especially since I can buy four Delish pieces for the same price, or a whole costume trunk. I'm shocked they're not priced around 150 CSC - which is the higher tier of non-DP wearables in the Cash Shop.

If they were in the 150-200 CSC threshold, I'd absolutely buy them more often!

Also wanted to point out that and were not added to the selection!

Agreed, they are too steep. I can get two donation presents or the four Delish pieces, like mentioned, or... basically anything else in the cash shop.

Right. A lot are well under the price of 500 CSC (or 50m) - If they were cheaper, maybe people would spring for CSC instead of "Oh, I can just spend 27m for the !"

Agree- I've only ever bought one directly from the cash shop during the BF sale and only because it wasn't buyable in shops at the time, and it still seemed steep at 250csc. :/ Hopefully with the change in how these items are given out, the price can be reconsidered.

On the contrary I kind of feel like the pricing for this serves to make it more "worth" to subscribe. It's still purchaseable for those who miss out, but I don't think its a bad thing to have more expensive items, esp as perks for supporting the site.

I always thought the shop price for this was fair.

They were released as one-time items that the only way to get was to pay cash to the site. Including them in a shop at all, at any price, seemed like a big deal.

If they are cheaper to buy from other users, that seems fine to me, those users who spent cash onsite get a nice big chunk of sP in exchange.

I haven't bought many from the shop either, but since the shop has been made, I have bought several from users because suddenly spending 20-25M seems reasonable. Before they were in a shop I wouldn't have spent that much sP on any one item.

The thing is - donation presents were originally the same thing - if you wanted to get them, you had to go and pay money to the site, and after their month is up, they're gone.

They didn't originally rerelease, and were originally random - now they rerelease yearly and are no longer random. The concept evolved.

Now, for the same price, I can either get two DP items - which still cycle out for 11 months, or one of these permanent items, which no longer cycle out. DP items also have the advantage of retaining their value for longer, so even as an investment - DPs are the way to go over these.

If their price was to be decreased, they'd be a fair purchase. But not now, at 38M per 500 CSC, especially considering what you can do with 500 CSC. These should absolutely not be CW-price tier.

Not when full backgrounds are 150 CSC.

I guess it depends on the purpose of the shop. Is it primarily so that people have a chance to get old items (making things more "fair"), while still keeping it worthwhile to spend actual cash on site, or is it to bring in more real cash?

I certainly agree that most people won't spend 500 CSC on a single item if they can get it any other way (for way cheaper). If the price were to drop, I agree more people would buy them from the shop, but that doesn't mean more $$$ for the site, if, for example people are just choosing between buying an old bonus item or an old DP.

I think that at this point, Subeta should be looking at every possible way to increase that percentage on the right side of the homepage, but hey, what do I know ;)

It's not like I'm an economist or anything. But yeah, right now, my hesitation is because dayum, that's expensive for one item that's not transformable, not a full background. I mean, yeah, they're technically retired, but so are a lot of things who came back in different ways.

Again, not an expert, just a whiny child.

LOL agreed, I'm no expert either! There are many bonus items I've been wanting and not buying because of price...but still I am, ever so slowly acquiring them.

On a personal level I'd like them to be cheaper, but I'm not sure they should be.

I was checking the cash shop, and everything felt properly priced, except these and Miracle Potion (there literally is no reason to pay more than whatever Angelic is worth, now) so that's probably why it felt that jarring to me!

High prices was the point, they'd cost even more due to scarcity otherwise.

At the time being, Turquoise Reindeer Trinket, Bloodstone Spearhead, Amethyst-Tipped Arrow, Ruby Seven-Spotted Ladybug, Citrine Scepter, Ruby Shark, Ruby Crab, Alexandrite Octopus, Decorative Emerald Peacock, Diamond Butterfly, Gifted Daffodil, Extravagant Emerald Vase, Aquamarine-Filled Seashell, Burrito Book, Opal And Black Pearls and Sturdy Metal Rings are worth buying at 500 CSC.

The Turquoise Icicles, Brown Tourmaline Spider Trinket, Alexandrite Roses are on the edge of being worth buying, being between 30M and 35M. There are also some between 25M and 30M

Everything else is absolutely not worth buying at this price point, and it's a majority of items in that range, some of them going for below 5M in shops. And, it's not a matter of item release date - some of the cheapest ones are also some of the oldest one (RIP Loony set)

Like, I get the point that when the feature was released, it was good to have them be expensive, but now, with most of these items not worth getting directly from the cash shop? Reduce the hell out of these prices.

Again, there is 0 reason for these to be priced the same as CWs, and twice as much as donation presents - which also are exclusive to the cash shop.

Support. I want a few things from the shop but never buy them because of the prices. Its either by a delish set or items or cws or other cs items. If prices were lower I would buy some. I do understand them being one time prizes so if they weren't changed I can see why but the items will honestly just be on my wishlist for a very long time. Maybe another way of getting them? Like re-releses with the new subscription?

wow, i would feel sorry for anyone who paid CSC for some of those... some are under 3 mil sp in shops. i don't know if the prices need to be lowered or not, but it's certainly... something for some of them to be worth less than a tenth of their cost in sp. obviously no one is ever going to (knowingly) buy those from the cash shop, so maybe older ones should be lowered? i dunno. i mean they're clearly not going to generate anymore CSC at their current price point.

raises hand Hi. I was one.

Right? Therein the problem with "Let's keep it insanely high for an item that's now 3mil or less in shops." It's not going to suddenly gain value.

There have been times when I've not bought CSC on Bonus Weekend even though I would have liked to, simply because I would have preferred the other item to the one I would have gotten (back when they did 2 items depending on how you paid), and I couldn't really be bothered to get it anyway and then trade it with someone who got the other item. I wouldn't have had so much of a problem with it if the items weren't so expensive to buy with CSC, and as some people have pointed out, a lot of them are around the same price in SP as items that cost less CSC. I'd be fine if they were 250CSC like the collections are. Or even 300CSC would be more reasonable.

Stained Glass Lily of the Valley wasn’t added to the shop because it’s not really a bonus weekend item, it’s different. We’re looking into something to do with them so people can get previous ones. :) The other two you mentioned, , I forgot to add to the shop since I usually did that as I was adding the next month’s items for bonus weekend. They should be in there now, though!

The prices for the past bonus weekend items in the shop are 500 because, generally, when we had those weekends spent 5 dollars to get the bonus item. We never based them off how much they were going based on user shop price, but to try to price it about the same amount as someone spending $$ for that weekend.

I’m open to adjusting the price in the future, but I want a bit more distance from us doing bonus weekends for that.
