Hear Ye, Hear Ye! --
On behalf of all my fellow Bards, I would like to wholeheartedly extend an invitation to you, weary traveler!
Do you like to create characters and build fantastical worlds? Are you a fledgling novelist or artist? Maybe you just really, really like to write stories about your Subeta pets, and stuff their treasure chests with all sorts of unique items?
If you are looking to join a club dedicated to the art of pet and character creation, you are in the right place! As of today, Bards of the Feather is officially announcing its existence and hoping to expand its ranks!
What We Believe In -- Rule Number One is that Bards of a Feather is a no-judgement zone. Do you only dabble in anthro character designs? Love to write stories based in the Subeta world? Are you more fanpet and fanfiction-geared? It doesn't matter what your interests are - our diversity as creators is what makes us unique, and we strive to maintain a chill, no-judgement environment where everyone can feel safe to talk about their pets, characters and ideas. Got an embarrassing OC? Don't worry, so do we. Let's talk about it!
We also hope to be a warm and inviting environment, where you may come and go as you please. If you are the socially anxious type, or have a busy work schedule, do not fear - there are no repercussions for going inactive. We want you to feel safe enough to come back and chat with us whenever you're ready to do so!
What We Offer -- As for activities and communication, so far we've got:
-An active discord server, although discord use is NOT mandatory! -A private Subeta forum, where all major events and notifications are posted! -Forum games -Monthly character-development prompts -One-word prompts -Admin- and member-run contents -An official prize shop + prize system -Some really cool people, and a bi-weekly, exclusive, and detailed Pet Spotlight!
We have also discussed doing plots, game nights (Jackbox, Pretend You're Xyzzy, possible DnD one-shots), and more!
How To Join -- If you're wanting to join the Bards, then look no further! All you must do is write a paragraph about why you want to join the Bards, and why you think you would be a good fit. Then, simply send that paragraph in an sMail to either or ! (Note: has since stepped down as a Bards admin, so please don't send any apps to them!)
After you are approved by an admin, you will enter a week-long trial period, where you will gain access to our forums and discord. We would love if you used this opportunity to chat with us, so we could get to know you! If, after the week-long trial period, the current Bard members see no reason to deny you full membership, then you will officially be accepted as a fully-fledged Bard! (This process sounds scarier than it actually is; We're very unlikely to turn somebody away after the trial period unless they try to skirt around Subeta rules or certain ethical standards.)

EYY it's been a while!! Nope, no activity requirement at all. I mean, while we would love to talk to you often, like Auds said, work can get in the way, and it just doesn't seem fair to penalize folks for not being to participate as much, whether it's due to work or life or social anxiety or w/e. So ya! I got your app, I'm just waiting on the Council to Make an Official Decision 👀

As for the pet spotlight, I can't say TOO much since we're still in brainstorming mode, but I think we want it to be a more detailed celebration of the winning pet, and there will be prizes and possibly a trophy too? idk it's still in development, honestly!!
