This question has been bugging me for quite some time. Do Dillemas eat your inventory items if they are hungry? I could have sworn this was a site mechanic and now I can't seem to find anything regarding it. I've always been really wary of having a pet of mine turn into one with the lab ray. I've been scared enough that if my pet is turned into one I immediately use any other species potion, just so they don't eat my items. Is my fear unwarranted?
I know a lot of negative events such as tax collection have stopped. But we still have the lizard minions running around trying to take our items. I still have my trap and repellent locked down from when I bought them over 10 years ago. So I have just assumed that Dillemas still get hungry enough to eat your stuff. If anybody could enlighten me, I would greatly appreciate it!
no, they do not eat from your inventory when hungry.
You may have gotten your pet sites confused. I'm pretty sure that's a feature of skeiths on Neopets. :)
Ok thanks so much and ! <3
I very well could have muddled it up in my head from that other site. I was on that other pet site but since I joined this site I never looked back! :)
I will no longer fear my pets zapping into a Dillema!
wait - lizards will eat your stuff??
(art by KayBit on Dappervolk)no. That's just added "color" even if you don't have the trap and/or spray, they leave your stuff alone. The only thing you lose without those item is whatever item the lizard drop in your inventory.

ahh ok cool haha. I was like, I don't think I've ever noticed anything go missing?? XD
(art by KayBit on Dappervolk)Lizard minions don't steal items you already own, just the ones that you find in random events unless you have both of the items to prevent that (just one of them only gives you a chance of getting the item). In fact, I don't know of any random events that involve you losing items like other pet sites have. I don't know if there used to be like how there used to be money-stealing random events. So the only time you should be careful about your items is if you're zapping or throwing an item into the Fireside bonfire that makes the Red Rreign angry. And I guess not choosing "select all" while fragging.
