Hullo, I'm Konn! I'm a returning player, I think the last time I logged on was nearly 5 years ago? It's pretty nice that there isn't much difference, so I think I've still got the hang of things. I'm really happy that I managed to create a Sheeta! I remember that it was my favourite pet when I first joined, but there wasn't the option to create one, for some reason.

Are there any tips for a returning player? Any new long term goals or features I should work towards? I've been pointed towards the blue building, for instance. Where can I find a list of hair items? edit; I found the salon, but all the hairs are locked? How do I unlock those?

As far as tips go:

• Head to your Dashboard to claim any loyalty boxes. I had three waiting for me!
• Do quests. In the last two days, I've made about 4 mil doing as many quests as possible.
• Def work on getting into the Blue Building. I'm working on that now too.

Not sure about the hair items, sorry!

Hey Kai! Thanks for the tips. Honestly don’t have much to say, I’m just posting this because I need the 100 forum posts ahaha.

Within the last few months there have been some very big changes. If you go back through the news post you can see all that has happened since the new year. But to sum it up we have a completely new wardrobe, we had a glitch that deleted items in the wardrobe before the new wardrobe was released, then they made a major change to the name system and non-unique names are now allowed. Although they have been working the kinks out of the new system you may find more and it has led them to taking down the pet/user search while they make a new one. Those are just the changes I can remember and I expect we will see more before the end of the year.

As for the hairs. Those are unlocked mostly through hair coupons and Delish items in the cash shop. Don't let that stop you though cause some of them are actually very affordable in the user shops. This link here will take you to the thread that explains how you can preview the hair streaks, which isn't necessary anymore but there is a list of all the redeemable hair items so you can look the item you need to unlock the hair you want

Thought you might find my reply helpful. And if you want you could rename Maiko. Users that don't have a Gold Account can rename one pet a week for free now or at least that is the way I understand it. There may still be problems with that system though.

Thank you its the first male HA I've made. Wanted to try and create Castiel from Supernatural and I liked it enough I haven't changed it in months. I'm working on some other male characters now but I get tired of the new wardrobe pretty quick so I haven't finished any yet.

Glad I could help you both. I remembered that in the new wardrobe hair salon they had the hair styles sorted alphabetically. This is annoying to me because as awesome as it is to try out hairstyles before I buy them having to wade through every hair for the ones I have can be frustrating.

🔥 Some hairs are showing up multiple times and all the hairs that were free and open by default are currently marked as unearned for some reason. I tested it and you can still use them but you would have to know which ones they were. If this hasn't changed by the time I'm back on I will make a post or thread.

Is there anywhere to check and see which hairs are free, then?

Not that I know of I can identify a few but for now you might just try different one out and see which work. I made a thread to let them know about this issue and a couple others I noticed while I was testing the hair salon. So hopefully they will have this fixed soon. all of the free hairs are older and their art typically has thicker lines and the styles are some what more simple.

That is one of the things I like here on Subeta. How they listen and act pretty promptly when there is a problem.

You asked in your first post about goals or features. There are so many possibilities and it seems to me they are mostly personal preference.

You can work toward achievements. For the most part I am only interested in the rewards they give and they don't all have rewards. But at the moment I am trying to reach the 100,000,000 sP in your shop till achievement not because there is a reward but because it is to easy for me to spend everything in my bank. So the achievement is giving me motivation to collect sP.

Some of the achievements will unlock hidden themes for the site. I'm using the Luminaire one right now. It comes from the achievement for releasing 1000 snow fairies but for some reason the achievements that give themes don't actually show that as a reward.

You could become a collector of plushies, beanbags, minion, stickers, pastries, pumpkins, or bobbleheads. Just go here and look at the collections section. Or you could earn a high score in one of the games for a trophy.

You could battle you pets and some day I think they may return to the idea they had for battling minions.

As for features your could become a baker or an alchemist or both. For both there are items you buy to make other items. There is a chance with baking to 'fail' and receive a burnt item. And with alchemy there are some combinations that will create multiple thing and its just chance want you will get. To learn more I highly recommend the item search on Subetalodge. If you put bakery or alchemy in the notes search it should give you most if not all the items you can craft and their individual pages will tell you more. Oh and also genetech combos search genetech in the notes.

There are some dailies I also highly recommend. The first is visiting the bathhouse. If you visit everyday you should have enough each month for one monthly collectable. Once you have more pets or raise their stats getting them jobs can also be profitable. I can get a little over 50k sP each day from mine. This thread is helpful for figuring out employment goals for your pets. For me part of it is about their job title fitting my idea for the pet.

One last thing if you click the commerce tab it will take you to the main shops but there are also special shops and each of them is unique. Some have their own currency, others are only open during certain events, some are open and fully stocked at all times. The zombie den is one of open and fully stocked ones but you have to have a zombie skin on to shop there.

Speaking of skins if you don't know about them I can explain most of them so let me know.

None at all. The skins are acquired a few different ways. Two ways are from events and they will unlock the most skins.

One of the events is Morostide and the other is Pandemic. Check here for the holiday schedule.

For Morostide you want to save up your wizard tokens and sometime during most if not all the event you can zap your avie the same way you zap your pet at the pet zapper. There are two options for the zapper one is cheaper and will give you a random zapper skin. If it isn't already unlocked it will unlock it and you have it for life. The other option is more expensive I think it was 500k sP and more wizard tokens than the first option but it guarantees you unlock a skin you didn't already have.

Pandemic is different, when the event begins there is a sign up for being infected with one of the zombie strains. Each virus is a different amount to sign up for and the older ones are more expensive. There is also a free option that will allow you to be bitten with any of the viruses. This is usually the one I choose because even if I want a specific virus all the zombies I've met have been polite enough to only bite with the requested virus.

After you sign up you can wait for the infection but I don't recommend this because it can take days. Since you want to collect as many as possible you need those days for the virus to run its course. So as soon as you have signed up for a virus go to the event forum and find a thread to get bitten in. Someone always starts one. Post which virus you want and someone will start chewing away. If you don't know what you want or forgot what you signed up for they can also help you. Sometimes I like a little mystery so I give them a list of options. After you are infected each virus will take anywhere from 4 to 7 days before it unlocks the skins. It can be fun watching the progression of the virus and each year they introduce 4 new ones and we all vote what we want to name them.

Usually I will start the event with a virus from a previous year and then pick one from the current year if I want one. Because at the beginning of the event none of us know what the new skin will look like and it also means I don't have to wait as long for my first infection.

Here is a link for the Pandemic skins and the Morostide skins There are five vials that can infect you immediately with their respective viruses but ONLY during Pandemic. So if you buy one save it for the event.

After all those skins you will notice there are a few skins that still aren't on either list. One is Lace that one is a random unlock when you shop at the Subeautique. Another is Flameo I could be wrong but I think that one was a random event when you throw things in the bonfire during Fireside. You might ask around to be sure that is how you get it if you like that one. The last one is Ice (Aaarrg I want so bad) it was a random event or reward or something during a one time event years ago that I didn't participate in. Always participate in events that are not on the holiday list they may never return. Many of us hope though that they will give us another chance at the Ice skin. The test skin is just that its for the coders and whomever works on the site to test things. Or at least that is what I assume since it is very new and it says please ignore on the face.

PS About alchemy if you aren't high enough level it will fail. Check the level requirement for each item you are making.
