I've looked through the site rules and FAQ, but I wanted to go ahead and ask for clarification...

I understand that credit must be given if using another person's art, code, story, etc, but what are the limits of this? An example could be, say, using a Pokémon game sprite on a pet profile with credit given to Nintendo. Would this be allowed, or is it in violation of any rules? (And if so, which rules, specifically? Redistribution?)
