Changed my username from Gryffindor to Francine!

I never thought I would change it, but after about 10 years of Gryffindor it was time to move on. Besides, Rowling has made being part of the fandom hard with her nonsense.

... Yeah, she is making it hard. I still have too much nostalgia to give up the movies and books I own (and also my pet, Colin Creevey and CWs/items on here I own); but I don't think I can get a tattoo for the franchise, or buy stuff for it now.

I totally understand. She has alienated members of her own fandom. I'm queer and not a cisgender person so the stuff she says has bothered me a lot. I'm still a proud hufflepuff though. She can't take away my memories, my development as a human, and the community values that we all share. The Wizarding World is trans inclusive even if the original writer became Voldemort.

Ouch. Sorry about that. I never read Harry Potter, but I saw a video on it and found that there's been drama surrounding that franchise even before the tweets.

Yeah, if I ever feel inclined to get my Huffle Pride on, I will either draw it myself or buy art/stuff from independent artists for sure.

J.K. Is definitely a piece of garbage BUT her hate doesn't erase all that Harry Potter gave me over the years. I just snagged a couple cw designs related to it that I'm over the freaking moon about. HOWEVER, I do get others stances on it.
