I've been tossing Rift-Touched items into the rift for ages now. Rift coffee, rift bunnies, rift pies. Nothing seems to trigger the rift skin. What am I missing? Is it random or is there another step that I'm not aware of? TIA.

While there's no guarantee of getting the skin on any one toss, the odds are not that small. Most people seem to take a week or less of tossing in rift-touched items though some people took longer. Personally, I tossed in mostly rift eggs and I seem to remember it took a few days, maybe as much as a week.

I've been tossing Rift-touched items into the Rift pretty much every other day since the skin was released (the days in between I use for making Rift-touched items) and I haven't gotten it yet either. I know it's random but the odds don't seem great to me. RNG has never been particularly kind to me though.

I skimmed through the comments on the news post and Amber said you have a higher chance of getting it on certain unspecified days. Great...yet another random element to this random thing...I'm probably somehow always on the wrong day.

- I've been tossing things in for WAAAAY longer than that. Could the trick be to pick one type and only toss that in? There's got to be something I'm missing.

- Me, too. There has to be a secret to it, but I don't know what it is.

ETA: And ironically, I literally just got the rift skin RIGHT NOW. Maybe the key is to complain about it. Or maybe it really is to toss the same rift-touched items in back-to-back and not switch them up...?

I'm pretty sure the only thing I've yeeted in there is Rift eggs so consistency doesn't seem to help. I probably just need to complain more lol.

Is there a forum thread where people work out what can help towards it? Cause if not, then there should be. I've been throwing loads of those space bunny plushies into the rift at the moment, I'd hate it if I went through all of those rift bunny plushies and still didn't get it. I often have bad luck on this site too.
