Humming Power Crystals are the items you get from sending junk into The Fragmentizer.

Like Wizard Tokens, this isn't an item that is useful in a quantity of 1, and would be much more practical to buy/sell/trade in similar higher denominations such as 50, 100, 500, 1000, 5000. You always need hundreds/thousands of them when you're trying to buy anything from the Crystal Shop, and currently, this is how the Shop Search looks for them :

All the people who try to sell them have hundreds, thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of them. This means anyone trying to buy them from SS has to refresh the buying page, possibly with multiple tabs to be able to buy any significant amount, which is honestly is an useless usage of server capacity and a waste of time for anyone involved. Using the regular "Buy" button from the SS mainpage every 3 seconds would mean spending hours of clicking on end to buy enough crystals. As a result, these become very hard to sell or trade for the people who spend hours buying and fragging junk items.

It would reduce server strain to be able to buy these in 100s at a time, like for Wizard tokens or Vesnali/Masquerade coins. Win/win situation for buyers, sellers, people fragging, people who don't have time to frag, servers, Subeta as a whole.

Support. I dislike fragging to begin with because of the time it takes (and I usually end up losing sP rather than getting a profit off the items I frag since it's just more convenient), so buying them in bulk without refreshing the shop search would be way easier for me.

Normally I'd be opposed to making currencies frangible; this doesn't suit the purpose of having them in the first place. Subeta as it runs now is losing items when moving over two hundred (according to staff) but in my experience lately in smaller batches. If the 250 item things that GA gets as a perk isn't really working, then we need some workarounds.

Pretty much all the other currencies could now use larger denomination, not just this one. This is too bad.

Actually, I don't think there is a single currency I wouldn't support in higher denominations. I don't think you can buy any item in the crystal shop for less than around 500 crystals, its ridiculous buying that many. Sure you want people to frag their own items, but if someone isn't hoarding and sells their junk items, how does it help forcing to buy 1 crystal at a time?

This would be excellent, a lot easier for sellers and buyers to move HPC between both parties, easier on the server. I hope they decide to implement this

I feel like im the oddball out but I dont like the idea of being able to go out and buy enough crystals to buy anything that stocks in one click. Its part of what makes the crystal shop unique and having to actually work towards collecting them to afford the items that stock.

HPC Resellers can always buy the items directly from the crystal shop and sell it to you. Being able to to buy the crystals in mass just makes it easier to get the items that would sell out quickly yourself at a cheaper cost.

I don’t know why being a hassle would be considered a good game mechanic. This is already how all the other currency shop that restock work and yet the items retain value. Want to make them more valuable ? Sell them for more HPCs. Who in their right mind will buy the entire stock of Chase Plushies or some other random collectible tho? It makes no sense.

HPCs were made to be used as a currency years ago, and therefore it doesn’t make sense to trade or move them by the unit.

How do I remove any partial amount from my vault ? It’s either in 50 increments, which would take hundreds to thousands of moves, or all at once (which is currently broken and will make you lose items). What if I only want 5k out? 20k? Stacks of 1000/5000 would make this easy and intuitive.

I think this would increase the value of HPCs because you would actually be able to purchase them in a meaningful capacity and then encourage more fragging, getting more junk out of the shops/vaults, and results in more of the Crystal Shop items actually being purchased (thus turning over the crystals more often - making this currency a bit more meaningful).

Being a hastle is the mechanic that separates the crystal shop from all the other currency shops. It just isnt utilized as much as it should be.

I guess i just fail to see how making it a stack of 1000 does anything but make it easier to snag enough to buy what stocked immediately. The staff can see how much of HPCs users have and assign pricing accordingly. Items like the universal remote would become even more impossible to get since anyone could just buy the hpc in seconds if they were lacking. I highly doubt anyone would go out and buy 100 of the chase plushies either.

LOL the remotes sell out pretty much instantly right now. I've actually been online, had the crystals in stock the last time they were put in the shop, and they still sold out faster than I could snag one! I doubt that selling HPC in larger denominations would make the remotes harder to get.

A little change of topic but its sill revelant overall. I think that relates back to the crystal shop as a whole not being used effectively. Its been empty for most of 2020 and there are more on the shop search than theres really been at least for a year.

I snagged two universal remotes last restock so part of that issue is the time limit is not high enough since i know i wasnt the only one to get two.

It was lowered because people were holding off buying in fear that there would be another restock in the 12-hour window with better items like it happened with godlies way back then.

Doesn’t make much sense to have one anymore, there are very few high end items that get put in there anymore. Remotes were 50k I believe, that’s high enough. Or was it 10k and emo sporks were 50? Can’t remember. Just release more? It’s only useful for the achievement now, using them on pets for stats is way too expensive
