Not sure if the way it is now is the issue, or if this is a fix to what used to be an issue, but either way, something is different!

Anyway: I use mobile most of the time. Up to a few days ago, I could click once on an item to pull up the item preview and details, then click a second time to select the item. But now I click once and it automatically selects the item. Just accidentally bought an item from a shop that I wasn’t planning on buying, cuz I wanted to check the item details.

Might not have explained this well, but yeh, is this a bug or was the old way a bug? (I really prefer the old way—don’t want to worry about single-clicking and buying any more unwanted stuff!)

EDIT: I’m on Safari on an iPhone SE in case that’s important!

That's always been my experience on mobile. To get the hover up, I would have to do an elongated touch (press and hold) until chrome has a popup with options to open image in a new tab, download image, etc. Then I close that and underneath it have the item hover on the site.

I use google chrome on an android phone.

Aw I tested that trick in my inventory and it doesn’t work for me :c I wonder if my phone just took this long to catch up? lol (You also reminded me to include my phone type and browser, thanks.)

This is happening to me too, but only in my Inventory. I can still hover elsewhere on the site.

I had this problem too. It seems to be fixed, at least for me

Glad it's fixed for ya! It's still happening for me but it's good to know it isn't just me. Time to wait it out and see if it changes back XD

This is happening to me. I use safari on my iPad. I can’t check the prices or anything on the items in my inventory like I used to be able to. One click used to bring up the details but now one click selects the item and goes to the page to do what you want with it.

I'm having the exact same thing happen using the mobile safari browser on iPhone 11. I really really hope it's a bug and not a change. It's So frustrating. I would never have guessed how much I use that feature... I'm going nuts without it... Help lol

Just fyi I also tried it on chrome and it's the same thing. I thought maybe I'd screwed something up on safari settings. But it's across browsers.

(Also the change started just this past week)

It’s happening to me too. On my phone and iPad idk if it’s cause I just updated them. Boo, I wouldn’t have if it affected me playing here.

I started having this issue on my iPad right after I updated it. Weird. I really wish Apple wouldn’t fix stuff if it isn’t broken.

this has been happening to me for a little while. i figured it was because i updated my iphone. which i almost never do lol go figure anyone know any way in which users could fix this themselves? i miss the hover feature so much T.T

Tapping once has always selected an item for me. I use a Samsung tablet, with the stock browser. I long press to bring up item details, menus, etc. I did try the "mobile friendly" custom css, but it didn't change anything for me on here.

Eugh kill me, that’s so annoying if it’s the browser/ company :’( Its going to make playing on here impossible! Can’t easily account search or shop search, so there’ll be no point unless someone can figure out how to change it back/ it is a subeta issue and it gets fixed :(

I’m just checking back to see if anyone found a work around for this, looks like no :( I wouldn’t have thought that such a seemingly small thing would affect my site use so much. It’s a real PITA!

Well... the issue was fixed for me, but now I can't hover over an item without selecting it.

Yeah I mean it basically means I won’t be playing on the site haha. If I can’t quickly see what items I have already/ whether I need to move an item to a shop or to my vault etc, then I can’t clear my inventory effectively :’(
