I've accumulated 4 Morty Cards through doing quests but I've got a couple of questions about them if that's ok.
How much CSC do you get if you use them?
Is it more worth it to use them or to sell them for the sP?
Thanks 😊
Hi !
If you use one Morty Card you get a total of 25 CSC by doing 5 quests (1 completed quest = a reward of 5 CSC), so be careful and activate one when you have at least 5 quests left to do, I think it would expire after a while... You cannot use several Morty Cards at a time. In your case, you'd need at least 20 quests left if you plan to use your 4 Morty Cards on the same day.
I'd rather use them than sell them, unless I'd want quick bucks! There are plenty of ways to get sP... CSC? Not so much! Moreover I have this feeling that earning Morty Cards from quests these days became a little bit harder than usual. Enjoy them while you can!
It really depends. Here's the math involved:
A Morty Card is worth 25 CSC. That means:
At present a Morty Card is going for 2,121,000 CSC (84,840 sP/CSC). So to see if they are cheaper or more expensive than gift cards, you need to multiply by the number you would need to reach the same amount.
And then you have to compare them to the current going rate of each card. Here I'm providing the range of the first four available gift cards in the shops.
Looking at these numbers now, you would save a little money if you had a ton of Morty Cards, sold them, and bought that cheap 250 Credit Gift Card instead (about 1,710,000 sP). But keep in mind that it likely will not be there in the time it takes you to sell all your Morty Cards, if you can't buy it right away. You'd actually lose money if you went after the cheapest 100 Credit Gift Card but not much (only 16,000 sP).
So long story short: it is possible, sometimes, depending on the market, that it would be better to sell your Morty Cards and save up the sP to buy gift cards, but for the most part it will be a waste of effort on your part. The market fluctuates often in this area.
I think this would be a good place for the old adage: a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Also all this calculation assumes you want CSC rather than sP. If you really would rather have the sP, sell away.
I've used mine one day and had it still be active the next morning when I could do more quests so I'm not sure if there is a timer on how long they'll stay activated but they'll at least last one day!
I tend to just use them as I get them, since CSC can be difficult to come across. One card will at least pay for one autotraining ^^; (25 CSC)
