My overall question is difficult for me to put into question form, so I'm going to just describe my issue and hope for the best. :)

Ok, so the little heart icons, used for liking forum posts/avatars/pet profiles etc. don't seem to be working for me currently. I must add that's it's been awhile since I've used it.. But when I did, all I had to do was click on/tap it and the heart would change color and the number would increase. But now it does nothing. (Yes, I tried refreshing the page. I even cleared my cookies/cache, closed my browser completely and reopened it.)

Here's a screenshot of an example (Apologies if your name appears, It's just an example). So if I wanted to "like" one of these posts, the number doesn't increase and the heart is still black. Am I misunderstanding the process and/or doing it wrong, or is this one of those things being worked on?

I'm not sure what topic this would fall under. If this is a bug, please forward to appropriate forum. Thanks :)

I find it doesn't work at all on mobile.... and most times on desktop it takes a few careful clicks to get it to stay...

Ok, that makes sense! This is a different phone than the one I had when it worked (older,cheaper,crappier).

I think this is something they're going to work on in the new (very, very, very early stages) version of the site that is still being put together. So hopefully in the future this feature (and some other features) will work better.

I've been accessing Subeta solely through mobile for the past year. Despite frequent issues here lately, I've found Subeta to be surprisingly more mobile friendly than many other sites. So when Virus said it wasn't working well for them on desktop either, I kinda figured it was just glitchy in general. My phone is not to blame for once lol Thanks for the update. :)

It's never worked for me on mobile (Huawei P20 Pro, Chrome), but it works on desktop (Windows, Chrome). Though when I like an avatar it seems it doesn't always stick and sometimes disappears after a while as if I didn't press like at all. 😶

I got a similar Huawei phone and use a similar web browser (Bromite) as and I had the same problem!

My workaround is to enable the Desktop mode from my browser settings. Since Subeta doesn't have a mobile version (yet) there's absolutely no visual difference except that those buttons work for me now!

i’ve been having this issue for a while, never once thought of switching over to desktop website, thank you now the lil hearts change color. and you get a like! and youuuu get a like!!!!
