So, I'm newly returned to Subeta after YEARS of inactivity, as in 'before achievements were introduced' .... I worked to get the required number of achievements for blue building, but I'm not sure what the point of collecting them beyond this is.

Am I missing something?? ... Is it just for bragging rights or something?

Some achievements grant you prizes or a custom title, for example, the achievement for having one pet grants you the custom title "only has room for one", and the achievement for trying out the new wardrobe gives you a 1 week gold account medal.

You can see which ones/tiers grant prizes as they have a little gold star next to them on the achievements page. Click on the star to see what the prize is.

Thank you! I didn't know about the stars showing what the rewards are. Now I can withdraw my shop till, since there's no reward for the rest :P

Bragging rights of I got this and you don't can be part of it. A lot of what goes on here is the collection of things, and it's one more set of things to collect. Or, nothing else right in RL is happening as it was planned last week, but in this game the Achievement is predictable and manageable, you can get. Or, if you are bored, it's a "thing to do".
