I was just wondering how are the following numbers computed?

• Total Profits (user shop main page)
• Making a living (achievement number)

I'm asking because I am working on my "Making a living" achievement, and according it, I've made a total of 342,731,729 sP. On the other hand my shop (the only one I've ever had), says I've made 198,858,555 sP, but I've also already earned the 250mil sP "Shop Till Saver" achievement years ago. These numbers just don't line up to me. Am I misunderstanding something?

New shops were introduced in 2016. If your current shop is your only ever shop, it sounds like a glitch. Or you forgot about your real first shop, and this is your second shop and the "missing" profits are from your first shop.

I've always been really lazy when it comes to my shops, so I highly doubt I had any others in the past. I do know for a fact though that the 250mil achievement definitely came from this shop (could have been the older/legacy version though).

Were the shop tils restarted after shops were changed over from legacy to the new version?

yes they were. The only thing that remained from legacy shops was the current till could have been transferred. Otherwise it was all wiped out. So your second shop (the current one) would have started with 0 shop profits and your making a living would include the total from your first shop (legacy shop). Not sure if any shop till transferred would have been added to your shop profits of your current shop though.

If funds could be transferred over from legacy shops, then that makes me think I received the 250mil prior to the new shops, since I don't have 250mil registered in my current shop. And if new shops started with 0, wouldn't that mean that my Make a Living should at least be at 250mil (old) + 198,858,555 (new)? That would mean that my current total is off by at least 106,126,826 which is drastic. That is unless the numbers are calculated differently than what I'm thinking.

Lets say, for example, that you had 150Mil (old) transferred to your new shop. The 150 M may not have been added to your new shop total because that shop didn't earn it? Then you earned 100 M in your new shop, got the 250 M shop till achievement. You would have the 250 achievement, but your new shop would, at that point have only "earned" 100 M.

I can't say for sure because I don't remember how they did that. I only know that you could have transferred the funds, from there I don't know. I already had the 250M at that point, so I didn't really pay attention.

I'd suggest sending in a ticket and asking to be sure.

Oh I see. The fund totals did not transfer over along with the sP.

So it's more like (Make a Living) - (new Shop total sales) = (old Shop total sales) 342,731,729 - 198,858,555 = 143,873,174 and that's how much transferred over.

My brain was having a hard time keeping up with all those simple numbers moving around without a diagram. Lol I really appreciate you taking the time to help me think through this. :)
