Hello! I really love my username- even though it sometimes makes me feel limited, like I can't or shouldn't change my human AV, which is silly but still I'm committed to the Aesthetic. What are your favorite usernames that you have seen, and why?

I initially had a different name, and when the Hamilton themed items came out probably 4+ years ago now, I decided to change it and theme my avatar after Lafayette because I was obsessed at the time. I still think it's a beautiful name, even if I'm planning to move away from the Hamilton Aesthetics. So I want to know the backstory of your name, or any of your favorite names.

I LOVE HAMILTON and Marquis de Lafayette is amazing! My username originally originated from my Xbox name which is thewildthing258. That came from the book "Where the Wild Things Are" I have a custom controller with max and the wild things on the handles Anyway, on Xbox people started to call me wild. And i really liked it. It fit my personality really well. So, Callmewild was born <3

I don't remember if I changed my name to this, or this was always my name, since I have memory loss problems.

Though, I've never seen my name as a really big deal. I like Shikamaru. He's my favorite character from Naruto. It's almost an identifier with my own personal interests.

I don't have one singular name through the internet. I change it every now and then and I'm sometimes just a different person no matter where I go.

My previous UN was a go to, yew4ia. A secondary character in my story, partially related to my current. It now lives as my email. My current UN is a generic version of my fursona. My next change is an absurdity I only heard once on a radio station's "Today in history" segment. I'll make the change on cue of my UN leaving Subeta.

Innogen is probably the origin of the name "Imogen", which comes from Shakespeare. There is no records of "Imogen" as a name before that and theories are that it was either an accidental misspelling, Shakespeare adapted the name slightly, or someone wrote the 'n's too close together. Innogen is also the name of the first Queen of Britain, according to legend.

I have been thinking about changing it though to match my reddit and email usernames.

I've had several username changes over the course of nearly 13 years here. This name (virus) has special meaning because it's the species name of a group of beasts in my story realm.

But I'm feeling a need for change, can't afford it right now though.

I used to be these names and each had their own personal meaning to me.

AmeiIshtal -was this at first until I realized my name was free. Amei -my name, was this for quite a while. Ice -was this for a short while, no real reason behind it. Miasma -This name gave way to a character of mine, so it's special to me. Heilig -I dunno, I just like how it sounded.

I've had very few name changes over the course of my time here. Hearse- original; used it because I like the actual vehicles, the funerary profession, and the poem from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (poem can be read on Gravestone's page). Edwin - my internet nickname from when I first started actually chatting with people on the internet. Came from a mix-up on the Neoboards (my signature at the time was referencing a Teddy Scare by the name of Edwin Morose. The person thought it was my name). Flamingo - They are my favorite animal. That's it, really. I had this name for the least amount of time. Hearse (again) - I love the classics? xD No, it's mostly for the same reasons as the first go-round. While I had originally thought about going back to Edwin, I had started to use my real name while talking people by this point, so it felt weird to have "another name" if I wasn't really using it as my own? Plus, all my usernames on other platforms stemmed from this original name (xbox, reddit, neo, flight rising, etc) I didn't want to use my actual name, though, because I think it's boring -- and Hearse is a MUCH better name to be known as.

As a bonus: I almost used the user names Slipknot (favorite band), Charon (love the mythological character AND the Fallout 3 character), and Plague (plague doctors are A+ aesthetic) before deciding on the others. c:

I love fairy. If it's ever available again, I might change into that.

Aveture has been my go-to username for websites since 2012. I still have a fondness for it but I have been wanting to change it recently, don't know to what.
