Do I really have to say anything more.. It's bad. It's several minutes of minor household chores, forgot what I was even waiting for because it's still loading bad. I don't know if it's the size of the place or what but for a site with such a social aspect to have this much wait time for the social activity.. It's no wonder people are screaming for the shoutbox to work.

I was experiencing bad forum lag a couple days ago, when the issues with the new wardrobe were brought to light, but personally I haven't had any problems with lag today.

Seconding not having a lot of forum lag today. It was bad at the start of the event, as to be expected, but has been steady ever since.

If you're having issues I suggest checking your internet and computer first. Subeta is image heavy, especially the forums, and with more people working from home due to the virus a lot of internet companies are doing their best to not be overwhelmed but it's happening anyway and of course an older computer is going to have problems period.

As for the shoutbox, it's not any better. The reason they keep taking it down during events is because with the increased traffic it's causing the site to lag to the point of crashing and being unplayable. I'd rather have it down during this time and have the site functional than try to keep it going and have the site be down all the time.

Maybe an hour or two ago in the dancing claim thread, I was experiencing a little bit of that thing where when you submit a post, it would just hang and not reload the page on your end (but if you check your post history you'll find the post went through right when you sent it). It only did it a few times and seemed to clear up pretty fast though. I say, and then it does it to me again on this very post...

Well, I hadn't previously been lagging too bad, but I just spent 20+ minutes trying to get the dance with the user above thread to load. So much for that

I really, really want to hope that whatever the team's planning with the new.subeta site will also include a rework of the forums. A functioning rework, at that- however it's designed now, it isn't working. It's been, what, over a year(?) with half the pages I try to load getting "stuck" for hours on end... and honestly? it's a pretty hefty deterrent from actually engaging in the site. :/
