I was wondering what happens to dance invitations that don't get accepted before the end of Masquerade. A couple of days ago I spent a few hours inviting a user because they asked for people to dance with them, but they haven't accepted the dances yet. I don't mind that they haven't accepted as I have enough trinkets by now (besides, Masquerade isn't over yet), but it did leave me wondering; if they never get accepted, do the invitations expire after Masquerade has ended and are the dances 'lost'?

Couldn't really find anything about this, and I thought it would be good to know :)

I believe any dances that don't get accepted or denied before the event ends get carried over to the next year. So if that user is active next year, they will have all of those dances in their queue leftover that they will be able to accept if they are around.

The old ladies who run the Atebus Historical Society and Ladies Club (that is to say Subeta) take dance cards very seriously and they have elephantine memory and never ever forget. Everyone's dance card gets saved from year-to-year, in exact order, oldest invitations first. If your friends click on the exact same link "somebody has invited you to dance" and then choose accept/deny over and over they will be taken through all dances they've ever been asked ever.
