There are site rules on spamming but I've never heard any issue with the "Claim" posts in the usual holiday forums for kissing/dancing/etc, despite the fact it technically violates the spamming specifications on repeated identical messages. I'm sure this has been addressed before but I couldn't find a listed exception in an accessible location and forums aren't currently searchable to check through old posts.
I've been an active participant in those posts since I've never had anyone else to interact with instead; but it never seemed to be a problem activity. But I'm wondering now, was this ever formally 'allowed' or does it just happen to be let fly every holiday?
If claim posts were classed as spam I'm guessing we'd have been told that years ago. The same goes for the bite or kiss threads during Survival and the giving flowers threads during Vesnali.
I'm pretty sure that the only exclusion for this is the event forums, but I'm no minimod. I'd say file a ticket just to be safe because admin wants tickets for rule questions like this. Then they complain about a "misuse" of the ticket system once in a while.

The "do x action to the person above" threads are also technically bumping another illegal action? These sorts of threads are popular, so we'd all be banned, that's for sure.
It doesn't really matter what you say in these threads, because you do need to post somthing (anything at all) in order to actually have someone above you to do that-holiday-action to. Type in something different if you like.
