(Didn't see anything like this before posting. Apologies if it's a dupe.)

Are there any other Sixth Sensors (haha) here on Subeta? Science would call us the folks with extra mirror neurons, while many religions would deem us prophets. Personally, I dislike both explanations. I tend to seek the formless and inexplicable in every aspect of my life, which I'm sure is due in no small part to my peculiar traits.

I'm a Highly Sensitive Person, empath, and clairsentient. Both my psychologists have confirmed this, and I have taken Dr. Elaine Aron's and Dr. Judith Orloff's tests. My mom is also clairvoyant, so I assume this sort of thing runs in my family. (I feel the all feels and occasionally see the future, and my mom talks to dead people. Completely normal Wednesday for me.) People aren't usually all three, and it makes living in my brain very interesting. I like how those of us who are this sensitive exist in a sort of gray area between the major schools of thought. We can't really be well-defined or understood by the mind of modern man, and this comforts me.

A little more about me: I'm 25 (almost 26), American, and was starting my AA in Theater Arts before the coronavirus shut half the world down. My main passions are writing and acting, I love classic cinema, and my favorite author is Tolkien. My spirit animals are canids and ravens. Religiously, I would probably identify as a pagan, but I don't belong to any covens or circles. I have believed in magic all my life, and it is the name I ascribe to the energy field I can sense all around me, permeating every living thing, the energy field which I believe is the source of my abilities. Because I am a huge Star Wars nerd, I also refer to it interchangeably as the Force.

I'm interested in seeing how many of us there are on Subeta, and I look forward to meeting all of you. I was even thinking about starting a group if there are enough of us to warrant it. Let's all keep staying strong in the face of mean ol' Covid. Much love!

hi there. :) i may or may not have some abilities of the kind you mentioned... All i know is that at times my gut feeling is right and i didn't always listen. :( luckily, so far nothing tragic happened, except for that 1 time when it did, but i had no power/no way of stopping it. :/ and then the other time when i saw an actual, real Angel (like in the bible).

I think subeta is one of the safest places on internet to speak about these things. yay! last and only time i talked about that, publicly online, i was made fun of. :/ meh. such are people: they are scared/don't understand? let's make fun of it!
