We were told the full page shoutbox would still be open for this event but it's not. Why is that? Did you want to wait for things to settle down first? Or did you change your mind? Are you still able to open it soon?

Edit: Alright, I didn't see that it's open now because it wasn't announced in a site update post or anything and just quietly mentioned in a news comment. See, this is why I'm always asking for announcements in the forums and admin posts where everyone will see them.
